We’ve seen quite a bit of work going on in Magic Kingdom!
Between Cinderella Castle’s 50th anniversary transformation, some miscellaneous happenings, and refurbishments, the park has been bustling with construction. But now, we have some good news! A fan-favorite shop is scheduled for reopening.
Main Street Confectionery closed last month for a pretty long refurb!
But now, we have an idea of when it may reopen. Although Disney World still lists it as under refurbishment on July 3rd…
…it’s OFF the refurbishment calendar on July 4th! Seems like we’ll be able to visit again just in time for Independence Day. We’re looking forward to seeing what changes were made when it reopens!
If you just can’t wait until July 4th to munch on the Confectionery’s goodies, you can find ’em in Main Street Cinema in the meantime.
Of course, this reopening date is subject to change. There’s also a chance that Disney simply hasn’t updated their refurbishment calendar yet, and we could see a longer closure! Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing if this is the case yet. We’ll keep a close eye on the situation and keep you posted, so stay tuned to DFB.

We are looking for freshly made goodies …not boxed.
Old fashioned candy stores and the aroma of the old world is our main treat of the Magic Kingdom! We are coming for Christmas and look forward to all the sparkle and festivities.
