Last month, we told you all about Disney World’s new MagicMobile service.
Essentially, the new tech lets your smart device be your MagicBand. You can tap into the parks, link your PhotoPass photos, and even join your Rise of the Resistance boarding group! MagicMobile rolled out first for Apple users (including those with Apple Watches!). But now, we have exciting news for those with Androids.
That’s right — MagicMobile is now available for Android users! If you log in to your My Disney Experience app, you’ll see it on the menu screen along with your tickets, plans, and more.
The interface is identical to the one for Apple users. Tapping on that MagicMobile button brings you to this screen, where you’re able to start setting up your pass.
We have a full guide for you on getting that MagicMobile pass ready to go! It involves choosing a pass style (there are TONS of options!) and linking it to someone on your family and friends list. Then, the pass will be added to your digital wallet!
As a reminder, you’ll have to pull up your family and friends’ passes manually at every tapstile. But if you opt to put your personal pass in Express Mode, you’ll be able to access it at touch points without even unlocking your phone!
Another reminder: your MagicBands are not going obsolete! You can choose to use them instead of the MagicMobile pass, or you can switch ’em out and use them interchangeably. It’s completely up to you! You also have the option to use a Key to the World card, which is available at your hotel front desk, if you want to go completely tech-free.
We’ll keep you posted as more MagicMobile features roll out. Stay tuned to DFB!

Do you if the new magic mobile pass will work with my samsung active 2 watch?
Nicole, I don’t think we have a full list yet. If I find the info, I’ll share it.
Does this mean I bought my magicband for my upcoming trip for nothing?
Afuah, no, you can still use a MagicBand if you prefer!
Any update on whether this will work on Samsung Galaxy Active 2? Do Android phones also have the Express Mode (or similar) feature?
