A Star Wars lounge! A water-based attraction at sea! Tons of entertainment offerings! Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, has all of that and more.
During a special presentation held today, Disney shared a look at this new ship and some of its fantastic offerings. But, where will the cruise sail to? We’ve got a peek at the itineraries right here!
The Disney Wish will set sail in 2022 and bookings become available next month. Looking to book a vacation on this ship? On the Disney Cruise Line website, Disney is now showing some preliminary details about the ship’s itineraries.
Based on their information, it appears there will be three different itineraries available:
- the Disney Wish’s Maiden Voyage, which will be a 5-night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral;
- 3-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral; and
- 4-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral.
The Maiden Voyage is set to take place on June 9th, 2022.
So far, the itineraries shared for the 3-night and 4-night cruises, show available dates from June 2022 through early fall of 2022.
You can look at a full list of the dates on the website.
According to Disney, “on June 14, 2022, Disney Vacation Club will host a three-night, members-only cruise to Castaway Cay.” So, if you’re a Disney Vacation Club member, you might want to look into that special cruise!
It seems that for now the Disney Wish will only be sailing out of Port Canaveral. All 3 of the cruise types include stops at Nassau, Bahamas and Disney’s private island — Disney Castaway Cay.
The exact itineraries, in terms of a break-down of each of the days and stops, have not yet been released. But, you can look on the Disney Cruise Line website to see the available dates that fall under the Maiden Voyage, 3-night itineraries, and 4-night itineraries.
Early booking for the Disney Wish sailings begins on May 17th, for some guests. It will then open up to all guests later in May.

I only want to go on a cruise for a least 5 days anything else it is not worth it to me . I was on a 4 day but it was to fast would not do it again . To really experience it 5 day would be it . In time you have to have money save up for along time .$5,000 or more average . Is it worth it if you have the money yes but not to expensive , Family’s go together it might be cheaper contact the cruise line they will let you know if they can help.
