It’s been almost a year since Disney World reopened, and a LOT has changed since then!
Many hotels have reopened or have reopening dates, more restaurants have reopened, and we even have an opening date for some upcoming attractions. Now, a big parking perk that has been absent since July is coming back to some Disney World resorts!
According to Cast Members via phone call, valet parking has returned to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort! Valet has been available to guests with disabilities, but now it is an option for anyone visiting the resort.
Under the resort valet section of the Disney World website, it says that “Valet service will be reintroduced to hotels over the coming months.” The Cast Member we spoke to confirmed that they did not have specific dates for when valet would return to each hotel, but that it would happen over “the next few months.”
We also confirmed that valet is still $33 per night.
On May 2nd, valet parking started back up at Disney’s Riviera Resort!
We asked Cast Members if they changed anything about valet due to COVID-19, but they told us that nothing was different.
As we learn more about the dates the valet parking returns to each Disney World resort, we’ll continue to keep you updated. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World resort news!

Disney charging $33.00 to park the cars I think it was $25..00 I only did it if it was raining going to dinner that night only . They are making a lot of money at hotels, parks , vale. The park ticket the room . You go to disney to draw out your bank account . That’s why people are not going anymore to expensive for us working people or older people . I have been going for 22 years and never seen this much GREAD. I am a D V C Member so most of these things are pay for by my maintenance cost ever year.

I wonder if this means it’s back to the same policy for handicapped guests with tags or a placard.

I hope concierge floor services, Fastpasses, ME luggage transfers (until January), increased park capacity, fireworks, parades, full shows etc etc etc are not far behind. I do not use valet parking when we get a car but it is a service some like and enjoy – good for them. To valet park is not mandatory so it serves those that want and those of us that do not. Just like fast-passes. Don’t like – don’t use. Just like the dining plan – don’t like – don’t use. I enjoy the choice to use or not to use the extras. Oh yes, bring back park hopping as it used to be too.
