There’s a delicate balance between food and condiments when you’re tasting your way around Disney World.
For some, the correct ratio is just a splash of ketchup on your burger. For others, it’s no sauce at all. And, then for others, the condiments are really the main meal and everything else is just a vessel to get it all in your mouth. (Those are our kind of people!) So, today, we’re connecting with our fellow condiment lovers and ranking Disney World restaurants by perhaps the most important indicator — CONDIMENTS!
Now, we take our sauces VERY seriously here at DFB — after all, you know our dedication to plastic cheese! So, when asked to put all our favorite places to down some sauce in order, we really had to refine our list (what can we say — it was LONG!). So, without further ado, we present the top 8 Disney World restaurants RANKED by their condiments!
8. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Coming in at number eight is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn located in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom! Back when we could have food out in the open, a few different Disney World restaurants boasted a complimentary toppings bar. THIS was the place that we would come back to over and over again to PILE on the condiments!
The toppings bar here was basically a condiment lover buffet. The limit did not exist on how much plastic cheese we could load on our taco bowl. And, throughout the years the ever-changing toppings bar received more and more of a Mexican flare, with Salsa Verde, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, and Roasted Corn Salsa showing up alongside the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
Back in 2018, Pecos Bills decided to hop on the trend and make guacamole an EXTRA cost and it became a side option for $2. And, just like we say when we order at Chipotle, no, we do not mind the added charge (just give us our guac!). Though we must say, we do miss unlimited FREE guacamole.
And, we HAVE to talk about the white queso here! Well, because cheeeese! Pecos Bills is one of the ONLY places at Walt Disney World that you can add a side of cheesy goodness in white queso form to your meal. It is an extra cost of $1 (or $2 if you’re like us and always need more sauce and buy two!) but queso fans can get their fix. Plus, you can use some corn dog nuggets as a spoon — we’ll call that a win!
Though topping bars are currently closed around Walt Disney World due to the ongoing health crisis, you CAN still get your fixins! All you have to do is select through the customize options when placing your Mobile Order.

7. Satu’li Canteen
Next up we’re talking about Satu’li Canteen in Pandora — The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We’re not talking about the Cheeseburger Pods today (though they are still very much worth trying), we’re talking about the Create Your Own Satu’li Bowl! You can DIY your meal from Pandora and choose a protein (Beef, Chicken, Chili-Garlic Shrimp, and Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu), choose a base (Quinoa and Vegetable Salad, Red & Sweet Potato Hash, Mixed Whole Grain & Rice, and Romaine & Kale Salad), and, most importantly choose a SAUCE!
The three choices are Creamy Herb Dressing, Black Bean Vinaigrette, and Charred Green Onion Vinaigrette (which is very similar to the former chimichurri sauce served here). And, you really can’t go wrong with any of them! We’ve tried them all and find that the Charred Green Onion Vinaigrette and Creamy Herb Dressing to adds a lot of flavor to any combo you choose. And, the Black Bean Vinaigrette is a bit more of an unusual flavor, but still pairs well with the choices!
If anything, we wanted MORE than the little dollop on top of all three! For sauce fans, this is a place that you can give every single one a try because there are only three!

6. Ronto Roasters
Over on the Planet of Batuu, they’re whipping up one mean snack that features a sauce that is so good it almost made the top 5 just because of how good it is! You’ll find it at Ronto Roasters, which is the Quick Service restaurant located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Travel all the way to the edge of Black Spire Outpost and you can order up a Ronto Wrap!
This wrap is made with Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, Tangy Slaw, and wrapped in soft Pita. And, y’all, we need to talk about that Peppercorn Sauce! We mean, you had us at tangy slaw and roasted pork but then adding the sauce! It brings it to. the. next. level. for all you sauce fans. It’s so creamy and amazing and we basically wish we could swim in a vat of it.
And, if you’re craving more Peppcorn sauce mixed with meats inside a pita, you can also head to Batuu for breakfast! The Ronto Morning Wrap is a little different from the lunch and dinner option and is made with scrambled eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheese, and peppercorn sauce. We’re going to go ahead and give you the stamp of approval to have all three meals here for the day!

5. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
We’re headed into the top 5 picks now with Regal Eagle Smokehouse coming in with a HUGE variety of barbeque sauces! This BBQ joint is a newer addition to The American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT and replaced Liberty Inn not too long ago. They serve up pork ribs, brisket, and smoked chicken and, while the meats are delicious, we come here for the 4 house-recipe sauces!
The exclusive selection of sauces all have specialty names and include Blue Ribbon Brisket Sauce (Savory Spice Sauce), Blue Ridge Vinegar League (Vinegar Base Sauce), Sizzlin Pit Dry Rub Coalition (Classic Smokehouse Sauce), and Mustard Guild “Old Glory” (Sweet Mustard Sauce). And, we wouldn’t be good sauce people if we didn’t include some classic ketchup in the mix.
If you or someone in your family is big into the sauces, this is sure to be a hit! Note, for now, the self-serve pumps aren’t available, but guests can simply order as many kinds and amounts of sauce as they like when Mobile Ordering!
Each one is unique and showcasing a different style of BBQ from around the U.S.. It’s hard to pick just one favorite. Just remember you can mix and match them to see what SUPER secret sauce concoction you can make! This is a totally normal thing to do, right?

4. The Polite Pig
Things are getting serious now, coming in at number 4 is The Polite Pig at Disney Springs. Like Regal Eagle, this spot serves up modern-day barbeque and they have a selection of sauces to drench your meal in.
There are four different saucy selections here including Enzos BBQ Ranch Sauce (yep, you read that right — barbecue RANCH), Layla’s Sweet Sauce, Thomas’s Southern Gold BBQ Sauce, and Lil John’s Signature Porter Sauce (which is nice and peppery!).
And, if you can’t imagine eating barbeque without these signature sauces ever again, you saucy fans are in luck! The Polite Pig SELLS these babies by the bottle!

3. D-luxe Burger
Taking the bronze in best Disney restaurants according to their condiments is D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs! This burger joint serves up some delicious entrees that are MADE to be dipped in their selection of 6 unique sauces!
You can choose from Garlic Ranch, Horseradish, Chipotle Mayo, 3-Mustard & Honey, Buffalo Blue Cheese, and Curry Ketchup. Or, be like us and load up on them all! Now, we love all of the sauces from D-Luxe Burger, but if we had to crown a king (or queen), we’d give it to the Chipotle Mayo. It’s got the perfect amount of spice when you pair it with the salty fries!
Before additional health and safety measures were put in place at Disney World, these sauces were self-serve and we perfected the timing to fill the cups to the rim! Now, you can ask for your saucy sides when your meal comes out. Yes, it is kind of embarrassing to ask for 12 sauces (because we need 2 of each) but also YOLO. We love sauces!

2. Chicken Guy!
OK, we’ve sung the praises of this spot mainly for their killer sauces, and it’s still only number 2! It’s Chicken Guy! in Disney Springs! And, we would like to personally thank Guy Fieri for creating equally as many sauces as there are chicken fingers at this Quick Service restaurant! Why are we writing a personal love letter to the man behind Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives? It’s because Chicken Guy has 22 (!!) SAUCES!
Even for sauce fans, that’s A LOT to process! There are so many sauces that they have to be broken down into categories! There is Hot ‘n’ Spicy with sauces like Nashville Hot Honey and Habanero Hot Sauce…
…The Classics like Honey Mustard and Buttermilk Ranch…
…and Signature Sauces deemed Guy’s favorites (yep, the awkwardly named “Donkey Sauce” featured on lots of Guy’s foods over at Planet Hollywood makes an appearance here too!).
They even have a Sauce Squad club and it is a MUST for the most serious saucy people! When you sign up to join the club, you get TWO complimentary sauces with EVERY visit! Divide that amongst all the sauces and you’ll be here at least 11 times, which isn’t too much to ask after you’ve tasted the chicken (it’s really really good!).
Now, there’s another sauce that we need to talk about from Chicken Guy that ISN’T on the sauce menu — the Super Melty Cheese (or just SMC for short. In the world of Guy Fieri everything seems to get an acronym!). This cheesy sauce concoction is the STAR of the Loaded Fries AND Loaded Mac Daddy Mac & Cheese. It is everything you can ask for in melted cheese — creamy and rich! If the Mac & Cheese isn’t listed on the main menu, you can find it in the “Shareable Sides” so now you can have your sauces with ANOTHER side of sauce (plus chicken strips and fries and mac)!
So, with 22 (plus one) sauces, we really wanted to deem Chicken Guy the winner, winner, chicken dinner. BUT there was one Disney restaurant that took on the competition and won out in the end!

1. Sanaa
Coming in at the TOP of the list is Sanaa! Located in Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kidani Village, this restaurant serves up a mix of African and Indian cuisine. But, the real star of the menu is hidden in the appetizers and labeled as simple Bread Service. It’s so so so much more than it sounds though! These sauces are so fancy that they even go by a more elegant name — accompaniments.
The bread service lets you do some DIY with your dinner and includes your choice of five breads including Traditional Naan, Garlic-Ginger Naan, Spiced Naan, Onion Kulcha, or Paneer Paratha. And, for your dipping pleasure, there are 9 (!!) accompaniments (AKA sauces). The sauces come out in charcuterie-board style and include Red Chile Sambal, Cucumber Raita, Coriander Chutney, Mango Chutney, Coconut Chutney, Garlic Pickle, Spicy Jalapeño-Lime Pickle, Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus, and Tamarind Chutney.
These sauces are so good that we suggest trying to ration out how much you add to each bite! And, don’t let it all disappear with the bread! Save some for your meal because these pair well with EVERYTHING on the menu! Some are salty, some are sweet, some are spicy, but they are all SO flavorful. Who are we kidding — we could (and have!) just chowed them down with a spoon! The bread is totally not the star here!
And, you don’t even have to eat inside the restaurant to get your sauce fix — you can Mobile Order the bread service TO GO!
So, yeah, Sanaa has taken the sauce crown and run with it! 👑

Honorary Mentions
Plastic Cheese
You really didn’t think we could go through an entire ranking of sauces without talking about plastic cheese, did you? We’re BIG fans of the cheesy delight and find that it pairs well with pretty much anything it comes in contact with. So, we’re going to bring you a quick ode to plastic cheese. This cheese, for the uninitiated, is basically the artificial, neon yellow cheese you find on nachos at a ballpark or movie theater. It’s not homemade — quite the opposite — but it is still JUST as addicting!
Recently, we made one of our greatest combinations at Friar’s Nook in Magic Kingdom and paired tater tots with a big fat side of cheese…
…and the tot to cheese ratio rivaled our typical Mickey Pretzel with cheese pairing. Mickey pretzels are typically served with a pre-packaged cup of plastic cheese. That’s all good and fine, but imagine our delight and joy when we discovered some locations, like Dino-Bite Snacks in Animal Kingdom, serve hot, fresh plastic cheese by the cup with their pretzels!
Oh, and you probably remember our whole discussion on corn dog nuggets and plastic cheese earlier. Well, you can also find this combo at Westward Ho in Magic Kingdom while Casey’s Corner is closed!
Okay, okay, we’ll stop it with the cheese. But, if you can’t tell quite yet, we’ll use almost anything as a spoon for our favorite Disney World cheese.

Gideon’s Bakehouse
The other sauce getting an honorary mention is from Gideon’s Bakehouse. So…this one isn’t really a sauce-sauce, but we’re giving it the title because we’ve dipped enough cookies into it that should definitely count. We’re talking about cups of frosting! It’s a condiment for your cookie, okay!!?
Gideon’s Bakehouse recently opened at Disney Springs and, in addition to serving up half-pound cookies, GIANT cakes, and cold brew, they go above and beyond by giving us not one, but TWO different flavors of frosting! A++ for you!
And, these TUBS of frosting only cost $1.50. Take THAT guacamole! As if cookies could get any better, Gideon’s Bakehouse went and did this. It’s almost TOO good to be true!
