Even with the rollout of Disney World’s new MagicMobile service, MagicBands are still at the top of many a collectors lists when visiting the parks!
While complimentary MagicBands are no longer being sent to guests staying on Disney World property, you’re still welcome to purchase new MagicBands ahead of your vacation or in the gift shops around the parks and resorts. Today, we spotted two new limited edition MagicBands at the Emporium!
If you’ve begun your search for that perfect Father’s Day gift, this first MagicBand might be just the right fit!
Celebrate your “Best Disney Dad” with this navy blue MagicBand featuring Mickey Mouse on one side, and a necktie-themed design on the other side! We spotted it for sale at the Emporium for $34.99.
The other MagicBand we spotted is for fans of Atlantis: The Lost Empire! This totally underrated 2001 film may not have much of a representation in the parks, but at least you can sport this neat MagicBand!
One side of the MagicBand features Milo and Kida…
…and the other side features Vinny, Audrey, and Mole!
The Atlantis MagicBand is ULTRA limited-edition, meaning Disney is only selling 500 of these! We checked back at the Emporium shortly after we first visited to find that they were already sold out! Looks like this collectable vanished faster than the lost city of Atlantis itself! We’ll be on the lookout for more limited edition MagicBands around Disney World, so be sure to follow along for all the latest merchandise news!

Hi, we used to get our magic bands in the mail before our trip. How does it work when you purchase them ? Do they have to be activated somehow? Will they automatically work when you get to the hotel and park?
DFB Sarah says
Cheryl, if you purchase your MagicBand through My Disney Experience (through a trip that you have booked), it should come to you in the mail and activated. If you order one off shopDisney, you’ll need to log into My Disney Experience to activate it and attach it to your plans.
