From a video of a super realistic looking lightsaber (that we’ll get to see soon!!), to updates about a restaurant guests will be able to eat at on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a the Star Wars Hotel), this Star Wars Day is already proving itself to be QUITE the day!

But, turning over to the parks, today is a big Star Wars merchandise release day as well, particularly over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and let’s just say the Star Wars fans are WELL aware of it.
Today is May the FOURTH, a.k.a. Star Wars Day (as in, May the FOURTH be with you). A whole bunch of special treats will be available today (and tomorrow) as part of the celebrations, and some new merchandise is being released today too!
Disney has shared that “Star Wars Galactic Outpost at Disney Springs and select locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are showcasing new merchandise available starting today (while supplies last), including apparel featuring the new Disney+ series “The Bad Batch” (also debuting today).”

We made our way over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios pretty early this morning to check it all out! We arrived around 9AM ET and followed the signs to the Star Wars event merchandise. But, we weren’t alone!!

We scanned the QR code shown to us to join the virtual waitlist…

…put in all of our information, confirmed our visit, and then got a look at just how many parties were ahead of us. Yes. You’re seeing that number right. 849 parties were ahead of us!!!!!!

Star wars Disney making a lot of money not surprised star wars has probably 100,000 for young and or older people . Star wars has been around for years . I hope people get there star war merch . I like the movies but not looking to buy merch .
