Today is a very important holiday, people! And, no, we’re not talking about Groundhog Day. Today is NATIONAL TATER TOT DAY!!!
There are so many ways to eat them, whether it’s in chip, french fry, or tater tot form! And if you love those crispy little tater tots, there are a BUNCH of places you can find them at Disney World — we’re sharing a full list here on DFB today.
Totchos — Woody’s Lunch Box
Let’s kick things off with one of the most well-known tater tots at Disney World...the Woody’s Lunch Box Totchos! These tots (or “potato barrels” as Disney likes to call them) come topped with beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, queso, tomatoes, corn chips, green onions, and sour cream.Â
These are a fan-favorite snack in Toy Story Land and they’re pretty much our number one fave tots here at DFB. This whopping portion of beefy, cheesy goodness is only $8.99, so it’s great for a meal or a shareable snack.
HEADS UP, though, tot stans — these “potato barrels” come with a caveat. These tots are BAKED not FRIED. They still taste pretty decent and are likely a teensy bit healthier for you without that final bath in hot oil. But, if you’re a tot purist, just know these will taste more like the tots you’d cook up in your oven at home!

Chili Cheese Tots — Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
Let’s skip on over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort for our next few tot options. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is home to quite a few potato choices, each for $9! First up is the Chili Cheese Tots which (like the name suggests) are topped with chili, cheese, sour cream, green onions, and chives. they also serve up cheese and bacon-covered tots and a few other varieties (spoiler alert: we’re showing them to you next!). Tots as far as the eye can see, here!
The last time we tried these, they were really delicious, but we did have a slight problem with the tots in the middle/on the bottom getting a little soggy. If you’re drowning tots in cheesy chili goodness, there’s bound to be a few soggy in the mix. It’s all down to personal preference for how you like your tots, but if you want them crispy, make sure to eat them fast!
We went on a tot-eating spree at Beaches and Cream. Check it out!
Plant-Based Chili Cheese Tots — Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
Speaking of ALL those tots on the menu at Beaches and Cream, we’re highlighting another! If chili cheese tots sound pretty delicious, but you’re on a more restrictive diet, then you should totally try the Plant-Based Chili Cheese Tots at Beaches & Cream. They’ve got the same toppings as the other ones, except these are made with plant-based ingredients!
These pack a little more heat than their regular counterpart, mostly because they aren’t smothered in a cheese sauce. The cheese sauce is replaced with vegan cheese here, meaning no gooey meltiness on these, FYI. We thought they were just fine, but you’d probably like them a bit more if you’re used to plant-based eating!

Sock Hop Tots — Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
Now on to our last option at Beaches & Cream (we promise! They have a lot of our fav tots!), the Sock Hop Tots! These are the most simple of the bunch — they’re just topped with plastic cheese and green onions with a drizzle of sour cream — but they’re our favorites of the choices at this particular restaurant.
If you’re a regular reader of DFB you know how much we love our plastic cheese, and man, these boys were SMOTHERED in it. Cheese and potatoes are a match made in heaven and if you agree, you need to hightail it over to Beach Club to try these out! (Maybe grab a sundae while you’re there too! 😉)

Sausage and Gravy Tots — The Friar’s Nook
Tots lend themselves to every meal, don’t they? Even breakfast, these little crispy spuds can transform into a vehicle for other big, yummy breakfast flavors to get in our mouths! We’re glad that The Friar’s Nook in Magic Kingdom is giving us just that with their Sausage and Gravy Tots!
As far as ingredients go, they’re pretty straightforward, just sausage gravy on top of tater tots. However, we didn’t realize that such a simple combination could be the perfect breakfast meal! The gravy is the real star of this dish, and if you’re a fan of biscuits and gravy, this could be a really fun alternative on your park day. (And they’re only $5.49!) If you’re at Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios for breakfast, you can find a similar offering in their Breakfast Bowl for $8.79. These tots are smothered in Brisket Country Gravy. YUM.

Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots — The Friar’s Nook
But The Friar’s Nook doesn’t just have delicious breakfast tots…no, they’ve got special combos during the daytime too! Later on in the afternoon, you can try the Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots with buffalo chicken, chopped celery, bleu cheese crumbles, and garlic ranch dressing.Â
The buffalo/bleu combination really stands out flavor-wise, so if that’s something you’re into, you’ll probably really dig these. They’re $9.99 so they’d be a good option for a small meal, or they’re the right size to split as a snack.

Creamy Bacon Macaroni and Cheese Tots — The Friar’s Nook
These are covered in cheesy goodness — what more could you ask for?! The crispy potatoes sit atop creamy macaroni and cheese and are topped with bacon, green onions, and sour cream.
For $10.99, you get a pretty substantial portion, and it’s only 50 cents more expensive than the macaroni and cheese alone! If you’re looking for a really hearty and quick meal in Fantasyland, you may want to check these tots out.

Chicken & Tater Tot Waffles — The Polite Pig
So you’ve heard of chicken and waffles, the classic combo that’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner…but what happens when you upgrade those waffles? The Chicken and Waffles on the menu at The Polite Pig come with tater tot waffles! That’s right — TATER. TOT. WAFFLES.
And not only do you get tater tot waffles, but you also get deliciously crispy chicken and a side of hot honey! Altogether the $16 meal makes for a fun and unique combo that we’d definitely order again.

Sweet Potato Tots — The Polite Pig
If you want the satisfaction of tater tots but prefer a slightly healthier option, then try the Sweet Potato Tots at The Polite Pig. For some extra flavor, they’re even topped with parmesan cheese!
They’re only $6 and they’re on the “market sides” menu, so you can order them alongside your meal. When we tried them, we got alternating textures with the crispy outside and soft inside and alternating flavors with salty and sweet — making for a fantastic accompaniment to our dinner! Sweet potato tots can be a soft, squishy mess but these delivered!

You can snag this snack for $7.99 and it’ll be the perfect way to refuel after a long day at the pool!

Disney must have bought the tater tot factory. I have not seen so many variations on a single main ingredient since Taco Bell opened.

Thank you for noting the plant-based option I am going to add that to my list!
