Even though Disney cruises have been temporarily suspended, the Disney Cruise Line has been getting us excited for their newest ship — the Disney Wish!
Fit with a Star Wars lounge, a water-based attraction at sea, tons of entertainment offerings, and more, we’re pretty excited for when this giant ship finally takes to the sea in the summer of 2022! We’ve already been able to take a peek at the initial itineraries and, with bookings opening in just a few weeks, we’ve finally got a look at how much it will cost ya!
Let’s start off with the very first date that you can book your cruise for aboard the Disney Wish, shall we?
The maiden voyage will be a 5-Night Bahamian Cruise sailing out of Port Canaveral, and it will cost you a pretty penny if you want to be one of the first to experience the ship on June 9th to 14th, 2022. Based on the website, you will be able to choose between four different stateroom options that are priced for 2 guests at:
- Inside Stateroom: $5,769
- Oceanview: $5,969
- Verandah: $6,369
- Concierge: $9,439
If you’d rather skip the maiden voyage, there are two other itineraries available for select dates through 2022 including both a 3-night and 4-night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral. Prices vary based on the dates that you plan to sail, but here’s a peek at how much the least expensive pricing for 2 guests on the 3-night cruises on September 23rd to 26th, 2022 and September 30th to October 3rd, 2022:
- Inside Stateroom: $1,827
- Oceanview: $1,911
- Verandah: $2,091
- Concierge: $2,716
On the other hand, the priciest 3-night cruise is the first that sets sail on June 17th, 2022.
Now, for the 4-Night Bahamian cruises sailing from Port Canaveral! Much like the others, the earlier you cruise, the more expensive your trip will be with the first voyage on June 20th to 24th, 2022 being the most expensive…
…and the least expensive being those sailing in September. So, if you’re willing to wait a little before you hop aboard the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, then you can score a better deal.
You can check out all the itineraries, dates, and pricing over on the Disney Cruise Line website. And, if you’re planning to make your reservation, they’ll open up for all guests on May 27th, 2021 with reservations for those who are Castaway Club members, Disney Vacation Club Members, or Adventure Insiders opening a few days earlier.

Unfortunately, having sailed on multiple occasions on all 4 Disney ships, I don’t think I will sail on the Wish.
The Frozen and Marvel dining does not draw me in. Clearly this ship is designed for guest who will be booking a land (WDW stay) and sea package with younger guests in mind. Not for me…

Was on the phone trying to get through to book the DVC cruise on the Wish only to finally reach them after Noon EST to find out that they were completely sold out. I was able to get through several times but instead of being put in a queue like I finally was the last time, I was asked to call back each time. Now I am on a waiting list which I think is useless. DVC did not plan this well. Very disappointed!!
