We stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort, and we enjoyed our stay. The room was very quiet. We did get a preferred room which helped. What we were disappointed in was that there really is no Disney Theming in the rooms, and the rooms were not in the gest shape – a bit beaten up. But we did still enjoy our stay there.
The transportation is a big consideration. It was not at all reliable, and the wait for the Skyliner was upwards of an hour in the morning.
We also stayed at the Polynesian and really enjoyed that. We stayed in a vacation club room with a great water view. What we did not like about it was in the vacation club rooms there is no closet space and no drawers! We had to set up our clothes along the walls with no place else to put them. I also don’t understand why they don’t have two queen beds instead of one bed and a couch bed. My husband is very tall and can’t sleep on a queen with me, so he was relegated to the couch bed. Not the most comfortable. That aside, it was a beautiful and peaceful resort.
