It’s been a fun week at Disney World! We’ve been celebrating the reopening of Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Boardwalk and trying out some new snacks!
We discovered a NEW ice cream shop and tasted some super yummy donuts, a unique Pina Colada, and fruity potato chips! But we’re not done because we’ve also been keeping an eye on menu updates at Disney World restaurants this week. So hang on tight because we’ve got a few!
EPCOT
Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
One of our favorite snacks has returned to one of our favorite EPCOT joints! It’s the Roulé aux Fromage — formerly known as the Roule Lard et Fromage. It looks a little different, and when we first got a peek at it, it didn’t quite have as much bacon on it.
However, we later found that the universe listened to our mention about the lack of bacon, and a newer version of the snack appeared with MORE bacon. WIN!

Boardwalk Ice Cream
There’s a new ice cream shop in town over on Disney’s Boardwalk where Ample Hills Creamery used to be. And although the online menu is a little limited, when we visited, we noticed quite a few selections available there.
Is it the BEST ice cream we’ve ever had?
Probably not — but it’s nice to have another quick ice cream option over in that area.

Disney Springs
Splitsville Luxury Lanes
The Filet Sliders have returned to Splitsville! And we LOVED these things and were a little sad when they disappeared from the menu last year. They’re beef tenderloin topped with onion rings and horseradish cream.
We highly recommend trying these out!

Todd says
I hope not all the Maine lobster rolls at Ale & Compass look as poor as the one in the photo. As one who visits Maine and actually just recently made lobster rolls at home, this Disney version is an extremely sad attempt.

The filet sliders and lobster rolls look delicious.
