These designer bags are typically very eye-catching and often inspired by some of our favorite characters and films. We’ve seen everything from a Tinker Bell collection to bags inspired by very RARE characters. Well, the upcoming collection might just feature the most obscure Disney characters yet… .
We were strolling through Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom today when we spotted a display for the coming soon Disney Afternoon collection. The new set of Dooney and Bourke bags will be available at Uptown Jewelers Wednesday, June 2nd.
Disney Afternoon Collection
The Disney Afternoon was a popular TV block that featured Disney cartoons like Adventures of the Gummi Bears, DuckTales, Goof Troop, and more in the 1990s. That means some very RARE characters are featured on these bags!

We spot more popular faces like Goofy, Max, and Chip ‘n Dale, but some Disney fans might not recognize Tummi Gummi or Gadget Hackwrench. If you LOVED these Disney characters, this might be one of your few chances to snag them on merchandise!

The collection will feature at least these three bags priced at $158 for the smallest, $198 for the crossbody, and $268 for the largest.

You will also be able to pick up this collection at Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories at Disney Springs. And if you’re there on June 2nd, there’s a special signing event with Courtney Williams from the Disney Creative Group from 10AM to 12PM.
We’ll be keeping a close eye out for this collection to hit the shelves on June 2nd, so stay tuned to DFB to get a better look then!
