Good news for Festival of the Lion King fans!
This classic show reopened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom last month — and although there are some differences to the performances nowadays, we’re happy to see it back! Even though social distancing in the theater has been reduced, it remains a popular show, and you could have trouble snagging a seat. Luckily, that just got a bit easier!
The Festival of the Lion King has added 2 daily showtimes to the schedule: 10:30AM and 11:30AM! You’ll see this change reflected on the My Disney Experience app. Previously, shows only took place at 12:30PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM, and 5:00PM.
If you’re hoping to sit down for this show earlier in the day, these new times may be perfect for you! Like we mentioned, the show is currently modified, with different choreography and less audience participation, but it remains a must-do for us.
Remember: since this show is so popular, the queue can get pretty long! You’ll want to get in line nice and early to ensure you get a seat.
Enjoy the show! And stay tuned to DFB — we’ll keep bringing ya the latest Disney news.
