Liberty Square
Now that the summer months are here, that Florida sunshine is going to be brighter than ever. Along with the sunscreen and shades you’ll want to keep with you at all times, Liberty Square’s parasols are a stylish way to block out the sun! And, you can have a jolly holiday in Disney World with the adorable Mary Poppins Parasols…
…that feature Mary’s famous quotes, outfits…
…kites, carousels, and flowers for an extra pop of color!
Now we just need to find a fantastic outfit to pair with the parasol whenever we’re in the Magic Kingdom!
Check out all the details on the Mary Poppins Parasols here!
Frontier Trading Post
We’re inching closer and closer to July 4th! And, a bunch of merchandise has continued to make its way into the parks. Over at the Frontier Trading Post, you can find the brand new American Mickey MagicBand…
…that’s great to wear all summer long for $34.99!
Emporium
Pride Month has arrived! As Disney has debuted multiple rainbow items around the parks, now you can also take the Rainbow Backpack with you during your adventures for $39.99!
The bag comes with rainbow striped straps…
…references to Mickey through his silhouette and heart hands…
…and even rainbow lettering and a zipper, whose bright colors pop against the black background!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Social Distancing Stickers
As Disney World begins to make major changes with its face mask policy and distancing efforts, various signs have started to be removed from around the parks and resorts. When we were in the Magic Kingdom, we noticed that social distancing stickers had been removed from the park entrance area…
…Ferryboat with signs removed from the entrance area…
…as well as the standing areas around the ferryboat…
…and the bench seating…
…and Liberty Belle, where markers were removed from around the boat…
…as well as the seating for guests.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on other locations around the Magic Kingdom and the other parks moving forward.
Casey Jr. Splash ‘n Soak
Along with the construction for the social distancing markers, new paint has been applied to the Casey Jr. Splash ‘n Soak station to make the circus area all that more colorful.
You can see that the animals look a bit brighter…
…as the other train characters have received additional attention to details, like numbers, names, and more.
Speaking of attractions, more rides have received refurbishments as well!
Jungle Cruise
Now that the Jungle Cruise’s refurbishment has neared completion, various scenes have been removed from the attraction to make way for new ones. Disney has already stated that the famous Trader Sam scene has been removed with a replacement that has been added to the ride instead. And, we were finally able to get a first look at the brand new Trader Sam’s gift shop.
Trader Sam repurposed it from the river’s Lost and Found station. At this time, we’re only able to see the beginnings of the outside of the building and not the inside. However, we can only see the outside of the building, as the interior remains covered.
Of course, we’ll give you a FULL look at the updated attraction when it opens soon!
Take a look at all the details of the new Jungle Cruise scene!
Magic Kingdom Protocol Update
Carousel of Progress
Now the Carousel of Progress is seating in every row as guests return to the theater. Although Cast Members didn’t mention to leave a seat in between parties, the theater wasn’t full at the time to see if that was still the procedure for the attraction.
But, we’ll continue to keep you updated on everything you need to know!
Here’s what it looked like back on May 26th.
Magic Kingdom Crowds Update
Wait Times
Over the week, various attractions had pretty consistent wait times as Big Thunder Mountain had a few lower waits ranging from 15 to 25 minutes…
…Haunted Mansion from 5 to 35 minutes…
…Dumbo and Barnstormer at 10 minutes…
…Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 15 to 25 minutes…
…Pirates of the Caribbean at 25 to 35 minutes…
