Avengers Campus is officially OPEN in Disney California Adventure Park!
We’ve been making our way around the area, looking at all of the amazing details, checking out the cool merchandise, and more. But now it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for…it’s time to EAT! While we’ve been having a whole slew of different snacks and items from Avengers Campus, right now we’re focusing on one veryyyyy special dish — the $100(!!!!!) sandwich from PYM Test Kitchen.
Yes, you read that correctly — there is a $100 sandwich at the new Pym Test Kitchen. Well, it’s $99.99 to be exact.
The sandwich, which was previously called the Quantum-sized Pym-ini, but is now known as the Family-sized Pym-ini, isn’t meant to be eaten by just one person though. Oh no no, this sandwich is actually meant to serve 6-8 guests! That works out to be about $17 to $12 per person if you do share it, so all in all that’s not a terrible price when compared to some of the other options on the menu.
What’s this sandwich made of? Well, it features Salami, Rosemary Ham, Provolone, and Sun-dried Tomato Spread on Toasted Focaccia with Marinara dipping Sauce. It’s served with a whole bowl of Potato Bites and some Arugula Salad as well.
We’ll start by saying the fact that the sandwich has the Pym Test Kitchen logo toasted into it is a fun detail!
To be honest, for $100 we were hoping for something more flashy or exciting in terms of looks. Instead, it’s basically just one large sandwich that’s been cut into 8 regular pieces that are just put together like a puzzle.
You can get the regular sized Pym-ini sandwich for $14.49, which comes with the marinara dipping sauce and arugula salad (but no potato bites).
If you do want to share the sandwich with 7 of your closest friends or family members, you would save about $15 plus the cost of side(s) of potato bites by ordering the $100 version. So that’s something to keep in mind!
Those are our thoughts in terms of looks and general cost. But, what is this sandwich like in terms of taste? Well, the sandwich itself is pretty great!! It’s honestly like a meat-lovers pizza sandwich. It reminded us of an Italian sub but in panini form.
And the entire plate actually fed our DFB reporter and 8 others, so it truly is very, very, VERY shareable. We think that a group of 6-8 could totally share this and feel pretty full.
Here it is! We’re trying the $100 Family-sized Pym-ini from Pym Test Kitchen! #AvengersCampus pic.twitter.com/39pD5sRK4v

I suppose I expected to see something much more cool looking (with all the hype n whatnot). Like something that’d make you say WOAH! That’s big! Oh well, glad to hear it tasted good.

Well…what does it look on the inside?? There were no pictures of what it looked like from an inside side view. I kind of wanted to see how much of everything they stuffed in there.

Do you get 8 forks with it? I wonder why the salad is just laying on the tray. You need forks for the salad and people are kind of used to having their salads in a bowl.
