Today, BOO Bash tickets went on sale for Disney World hotel guests!
The Halloween After Hours event is being held on select nights from August 10th-October 31st this year, and despite the price of a ticket being significantly higher than for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we’re seeing some MAJOR demand. This morning, the wait to buy tickets was almost 3 HOURS long. And now, we’ve got another update.
When we last checked in with you this morning, we were on hold with the Help Desk (407-939-5277) with that 3 hour quoted wait. And after about 2.5 hours, we finally got a Cast Member on the phone! However, she informed us that they are currently unable to sell tickets, because the large influx of calls took down the Ticketing line.
The Cast Members on the Ticketing line are the only ones who are able to complete ticket sales, which means guests are currently unable to buy BOO Bash tickets altogether. The Cast Member we spoke to tried to push us through to that line, but kept getting a message that all circuits were busy.
If you’re currently on hold with the Help Desk (or anyone else, for that matter), the Cast Member you speak to will likely be unable to get you through to that Ticketing line. Our Help Desk Cast Member recommended trying again tonight or tomorrow, when that line is expected to be back up.
We sure have experienced our fair share of hiccups buying Disney tickets — but this is a BIG one. We’ll continue to keep you posted as this situation evolves — and if we’re able to snag those tickets tonight! For now, we recommend not waiting on hold (since tickets aren’t being sold right now anyway), and just trying back later. Of course, there is a small chance you may be able to get through that line, so if you want to, feel free to wait! And stay tuned to DFB for more updates.

I got through to be on hold with the ticketing line at 10:15 and it took about 2 hours to get through. thankfully it appears I got through at the right time if it went down.

It took me about an hour to get through to the ticket line this morning and then I was on hold for 3 hours when the call disconnected but a cast member called me back almost immediately and I was able to purchase the tickets. I’d say keep trying!

Started at 7:30am central time, now 2pm cannot get a working number.
Very unprofessional for Disney,

Very frustrating- lost count on the number of times I’ve tried and just kept getting a busy signal.

I finally got my tix after calling, being on hold, disconnected, calling diff #’s for hours that never would go through. Then finally getting through and holding for hour and 45 min before I got cast member who helped me purchase my tix. Earlier this morn, started chat that took over an hour to get response. But was told by chat they could not help. It had to b the # provided in the email (407-939-4240). I would stick to this #. It eventually worked for me. Good luck to everyone.

Waited on hold for 2 hours to be told they arent selling anymore tickets today I can call back tomm at 7 am. No message as I sat for 2 hours listening to the same thing over and over….So Pathetic!!!!! Fool me once but not twice! I’ll take my useless on property reservation to Universal and spend it at Horror Nights where a park knows how to treat guests. Failure of a Day to guests Disney.

This is beyond frustrating. Yesterday morning, we logged in to check on our cruse for October and couldn’t find the reservation. Got on the FB group and everyone said it was about to be canceled. Over the next two hours, that was confirmed in various way. So we pivoted. We are a week later, but now heading to WDW for 7 nights. The cruise was going to be Halloween on the high seas, so this was perfect to get tickets to Boo Bash.
I’ve been trying now for two days to get someone, ANYONE on the phone. I’ve dialed the number over 100 times since 7am today 6/9/2021, and probably 3x that yesterday. Luckily my kids will never know all of the trouble, but talk about a less than magical experience

Tried unsuccessfully all day yesterday but finally got through this morning at exactly 7 am and was on hold exactly 2 hours and booked my Boo Bash with a wonderful cast member Hannah.

My sister-in-law called last night, was on the phone almost 3 hours and when she finally got through they told her they had sold all the tickets allotted for the day and she would have to call back 6/9. So my husband is now on the phone (holding now for 3 hours 36 minutes). He spent nearly 30 minutes just trying to get a call to connect, every time he dialed he would get the “all circuits are busy” message. This party better be worth it!!

Was on hold two hours today before getting in touch with a cast member who allowed me to book tickets during our stay. Called the boo bash line directly many times before getting on hold.

@joyelle snyder Temper tantrum much? You think that Universal is somehow majestically better than Disney because….they have a gruesome adults-only event that lasts months and is so packed no one can breathe so there is no need to sell tickets in advance? Very logical.
It is so ridiculous seeing all these grown adults throw absolute fits because technology didn’t work out for them. Clearly the demand for the event was extreme and those of us who are true Disney fans and understand the value and special quality of this event were eager to get our hands on tickets. Sometimes technology malfunctions. And sometimes people just have to wait in line. Vilifying Disney because of it is infantile at best and entitled bullying at worst.
No one cares if a few people stomp their feet and go to Universal. It’s not the same type of event, it’s not the same type of venue, and there are tens of thousands of people ready and happy to step into your place. The park will be a more pleasant environment without you.
As for us, we called 450 times starting at 7 AM. After several hours, we called a different line than other people were using, explained our situation, and were immediately directed to an absolutely delightful cast member who got us Halloween night in less than 5 minutes. We were thrilled and can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary and our favorite day of the year in our favorite place on Earth.

I started my calling yesterday at 6:55 and got right thru to a cast member only to be told that the Tickets where not available yet and that I would have to try back later in the day, nothing they could do. I hung up and started calling back, to talk to another cast member thru the help line. After calling and getting a busy signal after a 1000 times. I did get thru on the ticketing number.407-939-4240 and was on hold for 2 hours. At 6:00 pm last night I was able to get my tickets. Hopes this helps…..keep trying the number even if you get a busy signal each time.

I got thought on Tuesday June 8th 7:48 am after trying since 4am.
And I was on hold for 3 hours before I was able to talk with a person
and buy my ticket for Boo Bash
