After watching Cruella, Disney has us wanting to go from Estella to Cruella and this new event at the Museum of Pop Culture is hosting a virtual event that will give us a peek behind the curtain.
The Heroes and Villians exhibit is now open at the Museum of Pop Culture, but now there’s a virtual event to go along with it!
The virtual event will take place on June 11th, and we will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at our favorite costume designers from our favorite Disney films. There will be three separate events and one, in particular, has caught our attention.
The kickoff panel for the virtual event will be the Disney Costume Designer Panel. Yeah, you heard right, we will get to hear from some of Disney’s most esteemed costume designers such as Ellen Mirojnick (Maleficent, Cinderella), Isis Mussenden (Chronicles of Narnia), and Mona May (Enchanted). They will take us on a behind-the-scenes of the art of costume design and how that plays a piece in how the story is told on the screen.
Since this is is a Virtual event you can attend from anywhere and the price to attend is simply what you want to offer as a donation. If you are not able to afford a donation you can still attend the sessions for free. We cannot wait for this event and cannot wait to learn more about the fabulous costume designs for our favorite characters.
