Listen, here at DFB, we feel like we’ve seen it all.
Animatronics losing body parts in the middle of their shows? Seen it! Countless ride evacuations? Seen it! Parts of rides getting “inconspicuously” replaced with houseplants? Believe it or not, we’ve seen it. So today was just another routine day when we got stuck on a Disney World ride. However, this particular malfunction isn’t one we’ve come across before!
We were in the middle of our “Power Test” on Test Track when our vehicle ran into a bit of a problem. We know what the speedometer sign says Disney, but this sure doesn’t feel like we’re going 60 miles per hour. We literally were stopped on the Test Track curve.

We’re kinda glad that the whole design-your-own-car thing is still unavailable because if it were, our results would be: Capability — good, Efficiency — good, Responsiveness — good, Power — downright abysmal. Not the best score we’ve ever received. 😂
But, on the bright side, we can enjoy the lovely view while we’re hanging out up here…isn’t that parking lot just magnificent?!
And even though the ride has stopped, we can still imagine that we’re moving considering the fact that we’re all leaning very hard to the left. Who needs ab day at the gym when gravity and Test Track can do the work for you?
Usually, we have to lay out by the pool during our trip to get that post-vacation glow, but we think we’ll be nice and tan by the time that we’re done here. Even that Florida sun is pitching in and helping out!
But in all seriousness, getting stuck on a Disney World ride can be really fun, as long as you keep a positive attitude. It’s definitely an experience we won’t forget! A few minutes after the stop, we slowly resumed and finished the rie.

Hello, DFB team.
Hope this is helpful and not annoying. Just wanted to let you know that at the very end of this article, the sentence, ” A few minutes after the stop, we slowly resumed and finished the rie.”, is missing the letter “d” from the word “ride”.
Thank you for all the hard work you do and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

My husband and I got stuck like that in almost the same spot but for over 20 minutes. It was miserable. It was full sun and we were drenched in sweat and well on our way to heat exhaustion. I had a headache the rest of the day. Not to mention we were at a sideways angle and that got to be painful as well. Not something we want to ever repeat.

Geeze, that’s what I was thinking about. Being stuck on a ride is one thing, but in a convertible in the sun is another. That’s why people should be prepared with a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, just like DFB advises.

My son and I got stuck in the “mainframe computer room” on spaceship earth for a good half an hour. Of all the rooms to get stuck in, it was probably the most boring! It was quiet and cool, though, so at least that was nice 🙂
