Since Disneyland reopened, face coverings have been required for guests both indoors and outdoors.
However, as the parks continue with their phased reopening and prepare to open to out-of-state guests, we’re seeing policy changes. Notably, a BIG shift in mask requirements is coming soon.
Beginning June 15th, fully vaccinated guests will not be required to wear a face mask either indoors or outdoors. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear them indoors. And while Disneyland will not require proof of vaccination, vaccinated guests will need “self-attest that they are in compliance prior to entry.”
However, guests of any vaccination status WILL be required to wear masks on the bus transportation to and from the Toy Story parking lot, once that reopens on June 18th. This is similar to Disney World’s upcoming policy to only require face coverings on transportation.
June 15th marks a big day for Disneyland, as temperature checks will end then and out-of-state guests will be able to visit for the first time. We’ll be sure to bring you all the details as it gets closer. Stay tuned to DFB!
