We’re looking forward to another restaurant reopening in Disney World!
We’re getting EXCITED for Tusker House and ‘Ohana to welcome guests back, but over at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Maya Grill is preparing for a big reopening, too! And now, we’ve got a look at all the menu offerings that’ll be up for grabs.
Maya Grill serves up the tastes of “Nuevo Latino” — and the reopening menu reflects that! For starters, we’re seeing some minor changes: Shrimp Mojo instead of Tempura Rock Shrimp; empanadas topped with spicy ranchero instead of chipotle, and the absence of the Queso Fundido.
There are also 3 new salads — the Traditional Taco Salad, Fiesta Salad, and Ensalada Caesar.
We’re also seeing new plant-based Chicken Enchiladas! And as far as entrees go, there are plenty of new dishes. There will be a new burger (the Bacon Cheddar Burger) and sandwich (the Monterey Chicken Sandwich), while your rib-eye will be served in taco form instead of hand-cut.
For sides, you can still snag the Chipotle Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Poblano Potatoes Gratin, and Yucca Fries (with, shockingly, a price decrease) — but now you can also opt for Plantain Rice, Seasoned French Fries, or Fried Plantains! That’s a LOT of options for your group.
Lastly, for dessert, the sorbet is stickin’ around, but you can also chow down on CHURROS! We do have to say goodbye, though, to that Ancho Creme Brûlée.
The kids’ menu looks much the same…
…and you’ve got a hefty list of specialty beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There’s also a selection of beer…
…wine…
hand-crafted cocktails…
…and, of course, tequila! You’ve got TONS of choice when it comes to what to sip with your meal.
Maya Grill will be reopening on June 24th at 5PM, for dinner only. We’ll be sure to stop by then and bring you a full review! As always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney news.
