LOTS of changes are happening over at Disneyland!
Beginning today, there are BIG shifts in safety policies, and the parks have reopened to out-of-state guests. We also learned that fireworks will return on July 4th! But we’re not done just yet, because we’ve got MORE reopening news to share with ya.
Several rides have remained closed at Disneyland Resort since the parks’ reopening. And today, we’ve got reopening dates for quite a few of ’em!
First of all, the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough, Golden Zephyr, Animation Academy, and Sorcerer’s Workshop have ALL reopened today, while Mickey’s Philharmagic is open on weekends only. But let’s take a peek at some dates in the upcoming weeks.
According to the Orange County Register, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes will be reopening on June 18th, while Tom Sawyer Island will follow shortly after on June 20th. The Storybook Land Canal Boats will reopen on the 27th.
We’re also seeing several attraction being removed from the refurbishment calendar. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is off the calendar on June 25th…
…Matterhorn Bobsleds on July 2nd…
…and Jungle Cruise on July 16th. The ride will debut with its new storyline and characters as part of a major reimagining.
If you’re visiting Disneyland this summer, keep those dates in mind! We’ll be sure to keep ya posted as we get more information about the parks’ phased reopening, so stay tuned to DFB.
