The 4th of July is just around the corner, and LOTS of folks are planning to spend the holiday in Disney World it seems.
We’ve been keeping a close eye on the availability of Disney Park Passes for the coming months and we expected Magic Kingdom and EPCOT to book up FAST on the 4th of July. With fireworks returning and holidays being a draw on their own, Independence Day is in high demand. Now, it seems availability is GONE for two Disney World parks on the 4th.
Though park passes were recently made available again for the month of July, both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom are now completely unavailable on July 4th.
Across all ticket categories — regular ticketholders, select resort hotel guests, and Annual Passholders — EPCOT and Magic Kingdom are now unavailable. At the time of writing, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom remain available.
As a reminder, fireworks return to Disney World on July 1st with Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Forever in EPCOT. Fireworks are a special part of the 4th of July for many, so we can see why the two parks with confirmed shows are filled.
We have seen park passes become available after filling up so we’ll be keeping a close eye on the 4th of July. Stay tuned to DFB so you don’t miss any of the updates!

Has there been an announced capacity % that are now permitted into the parks? It’s obvious they have increased from the 25% previously announced. I would imagine WDW would love for it to be 100% but it’s unlikely they have hired and trained enough CMs for that size crowds.
DFB Sarah says
Bill, to my knowledge they’ve not announced the percentage capacity since the increase.
