The past few months have seen some HUGE changes at Disney World.
As more people become vaccinated, we’ve seen many health and safety guidelines change at the parks: temperature checks have been suspended, masks became optional for guests who are fully vaccinated in most situations, park capacity is going up, and fireworks are scheduled to return soon!
Now, Disney announced another BIG change, and this one means you’ll soon see a lot more smiling faces on Cast Members at Disney World. Face coverings are now optional for Cast Members who are fully vaccinated while they are working outdoors. In fact, we ran into one such smiling Cast Member this morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
According to @wdw.ambassador on Instagram, “It feels great to take this step forward as we continue to make intentional and gradual changes to our health and safety protocols.”

We can’t know that anyone unmasked is fully vaccinated. I’ve been told to my face: “no one knows if I’ve been vaccinated or not, and they better not ask me. I’m not wearing a mask and I’m not getting vaccinated. My body, my choice.” Florida is a mess with unmasking and no social distancing. I’m fully vaccinated and I wear a mask everywhere I go. Taking chances and trusting people to be honest is foolish.

Are they requiring cast members to provide proof of their vaccination ?

To give cast members the option to wear a mask or not is a good idea .They are vaccinated just like vacationers going to Disney Parks . Myself still leary about how is vaccinated and who is not I will play it by the situations comes up for myself .

That is great news for CM’s and WDW. We visited in May, when everyone still needed to wear face coverings. On our last full day at WDW they relaxed the face coverings for guest out doors. My daughter found that funny, as we were leaving the next day.
For me, I do not care if the person next to me is vaccinated. I know that I am. And if we are to believe what we have been told. Once vaccinated you can not get COVID, you are not a carrier of it and you can not transmit it. You either believe the shot works or you don’t. You either get on to living. Or get busy dying.
I am looking forward to a short visit in November.
