In the mood for some munchin’? We are, too!
Disney World is pretty famous for its creative eats, from Dole Whip concoctions to fun cupcakes to beef fat candles (yup, you heard that right). But what’s a trip to a theme park without some good ol’ POPCORN?
Well, Disney’s got plenty of that, too! And we’re here with the handy-dandy guide that’ll tell you exactly where to get ALL the popcorn you could possibly want in the parks.
Popcorn Carts
We’re gonna start with the basics. You’ll find Popcorn Carts in all 4 parks — we’ve got a full list of locations for you right here! These carts, for the most part, serve your basic, buttery variety. We’ll get into some unique flavors in a little bit! A note on Disney World’s standard butter-flavored popcorn — it’s vegan!
Now, what’s super cool about these carts is that you can buy a refillable popcorn bucket to get discounted refills everywhere on property! You can get a Standard Refillable Popcorn Bucket for $12 (that’s your normal bucket with a design printed on it) or a Specialty Refillable Popcorn Bucket for anywhere from $18-$25. Those specialty buckets may have unique shapes — think the Millennium Falcon or a Mickey balloon!
After you snag one of these buckets, your refills at any participating Popcorn Cart are $2 each (that price is the same whether you have a Standard or a Specialty Bucket). So if you’re a BIG popcorn person and know you’re going to eat a LOT of it on your vacation, you may want to invest in one of these!

Prepackaged Popcorn
Seasonal Flavors
Now let’s move into some more creative eats! You can find seasonal, prepackaged popcorn flavors at select locations in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Most recently, we spotted a cheesy Sweet and Savory Popcorn at The Market. That’s a tasty mix of Cheddar and Caramel Popcorn!
And a few months ago, we tried the Springtime Popcorn (aka BIRTHDAY CAKE popcorn) at the Hot and Fresh Popcorn Kiosks. And a few months before that, the seasonal flavor was Holiday Festive Popcorn (with peppermint!).
The moral of the story? Keep an eye out in Hollywood Studios if you’re on the hunt for some popcorn! A new, fun flavor could pop up. Of course, we’ll keep ya posted if it does. 😉
Other Flavors
Meanwhile, in other parks, you can enjoy the Blueberry Almond Popcorn in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom…
…and the prepackaged Main Street Popcorn, which comes in LOTS of flavors and is available in many gift shops on property! Your options include Kettle Corn, Parmesan Garlic, Churro, Maple Bacon, and SO much more.
We’ve seen specialty flavors show up around holidays, like Gingerbread at Christmastime, too! Those Main Street Popcorn bags range from $5.99-$6.99, and they’re all nice and shareable.

Kat Saka’s Kettle
Now we’re moving on to FRESH popcorn…and we’re not done in Hollywood Studios just yet! Because we have to head over to Kat Saka’s Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. (Note, this spot is still currently closed!) You’ll find this kiosk in the Marketplace of Black Spire Outpost! The popular snack here is the Outpost Mix. It’s a sweet ‘n’ savory combo of fruit and chili flavors, so it’s certainly a distinct choice. In fact, this flavor is pretty divisive with guests. Even on our team, some LOVE it and others? Not so much!
If you want something a little more standard, you can opt for the Galaxy Green Popcorn! It’s your traditional, buttery popcorn with a flavorless green color — so you can still feel sorta spacey!
If you’re planning on trying these intergalactic eats, you’ll want to keep in mind that Kat Saka’s Kettle is not always open. But it never hurts to swing by and check!

Caramel Corn
Big Top Treats
Although Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus is currently closed, we’ve GOT to tell you about the House-Made Caramel Corn that’s typically up for grabs there.
It’s sweet and crunchy, as popcorn should be, but we’ve gotta warn you…the Caramel Corn at EPCOT’s Karamell-Küche is possibly even better (more on that in a second!). We recommend saving your dough and spending it there if you’re in the market for caramel corn. Of course, if you’re in Magic Kingdom and craving a caramel crunch, this is your best bet!

Karamell-Küche
Okay, now let’s talk about Karamell-Küche in EPCOT! The name literally translates to “caramel kitchen,” so you know we’ve got some good eats here. And the star of the show is that Caramel Corn!
It tastes (and smells!) amazing (seriously — the Germany Pavilion smells like a giant caramel air freshener and it’s amazing!), and the Werther’s Caramel that coats the popcorn is made onsite. Pro tip: stop by and you MAY be able to snag a sample before you buy, though this isn’t always a thing! And of course, while you’re in here, why not try some boozy caramel, caramel cupcakes, or caramel cookies? This remains one of our favorite snack spots in the parks for VERY good reason.

Maple Popcorn
We’re stopping by another World Showcase country for another popcorn variation! Next up is the Maple Popcorn from (ya guessed it) the Canada Popcorn Cart. Typically, you can ONLY find this stuff here, so it makes for a worthy stop if you’re looking to try a unique flavor.
While the maple flavoring isn’t super prominent, this popcorn is super yummy and sweet. And the texture is more like kettle corn than your traditional buttery popcorn, so that may be a plus for you, too! Bonus that it’s popped fresh here too!
Now, we mentioned it was typically only found in the Canada Pavilion because sometimes, this little flavor will pop up in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland! So keep an eye out.

Future World Gourmet Popcorn Cart
A final note for ya: the Future World Gourmet Popcorn Cart in EPCOT (you’ll find it outside of Journey Into Imagination with Figment!) is known for selling gourmet flavors. That includes Sour Cream & Chive, Cheddar Cheese, and Buffalo Bleu Cheese. Getting hungry yet?!
However, there are currently NO gourmet flavors available here — just your normal variety! We’re keeping an eye out for their return, though, and we’ll keep you posted. Sometimes, you’ll also catch these options in the Odyssey Center (by the EPCOT Experience)!

Cindy says
Question: If I have a “standard” popcorn bucket from a previous Disney trip, can I bring it with me the next time and continue to get the $2 refills? Or do I need to just get a new one on my next trip? Has anyone else tried this, or am I just *that* person who can’t get rid of anything Disney ever?
DFB Sarah says
Cindy, in our experience, most Cast Members will refill an older bucket. However, your mileage could vary depending on the CM you get at the popcorn cart.
DanielleV says
Fantastic on the vegan popcorn! I’ll add that to my list!

Never been a huge fan of the Carmel Küchen popcorn. It’s rubbery and hard to eat. EVER SINGLE time we’ve gotten it, no matter what time of day or weather, it is always thr same.
I’ll stick with the Canada Popvorn cart option.
Essie says
Is there a diff between regular popcorn and kettle corn? The butter toffee almond sounds delicious!
DFB Sarah says
Essie, kettle corn would have some sweetness where the regular popcorn doesn’t.
Ruth Smith says
Is there a popcorn cart with refillable buckets at Disney Springs?
DFB Sarah says
Ruth, yes, there are several.
Lora says
So can you use the bucket to get the maple and Carmel popcorn?? Or is it just for basic buttered popcorn. I’ve tried to fund the answer online but I can’t quite figure it out.
DFB Gigi says
Hi Lora! Yes! You can get the refills on the caramel and maple popcorn in EPCOT with your popcorn bucket.
brandon says
Lara,
To clarify,
YES on the Maple Popcorn cart in Canada.
No on the Caramel Popcorn in Germany at Karamel Kuchen. That is a specialty snack and sold in a store.
