Hello from Disney World!
The potential power outages closed down a LOT of rides this week, but it didn’t seem to mess with the wait times too much! We did see the reopening of the Single Rider Line on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run this week but as of writing, the Single Rider line is still closed for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Test Track.
Remember, there are NOT any Fast Passes in Disney right now, and we have no word on when they’ll be coming back. So, everyyyyone has to wait in the standby line. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the average wait times for all of the rides in Disney World this week!
Magic Kingdom
We begin in Magic Kingdom, where Splash Mountain met its match this week for the longest wait time after holding the top spot for weeks! Both Splash and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait times this week with 53 minutes.
Next, we had Jungle Cruise at 47 minutes, Space Mountain at 38 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 35 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 32 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 30 minutes.
In the 20s were Astro Orbiter at 29 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 25 minutes, “it’s a small world” at 22 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 21 minutes.
The just barely staying in the teens was Haunted Mansion averaged at a 19-minute wait. Then, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid and Mickey’s PhilharMagic both at 14 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 13 minutes, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Mad Tea Party, and Tomorrowland Speedway ALL at 12 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 11 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 10 minutes (phew, that was a lot!).
In the single digits were Liberty Square Riverboat at 7 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 5 minutes, and Tom Sawyer Island and Carousel of Progress both at 4 minutes.
The same two rides as last week also had ZERO wait times this week, which were Enchanted Tiki Room and the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
EPCOT
Moving on to EPCOT, Test Track had the longest average wait time at 64 minutes, followed by Frozen Ever After at 46 minutes, Soarin’ at 40 minutes, and Mission: SPACE at 38 minutes.
Then waaaay down in the teens were Gran Fiesta Tour at 18 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 15 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 14 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 12 minutes, and Living with the Land at 11 minutes.
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this week! These included American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, andReflections of China.
Hollywood Studios
Over in Hollywood Studios, we saw Slinky Dog Dash with the highest wait time again this week at 73 minutes.
Then, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 47 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 45 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 40 minutes.
In the 30s we only had Toy Story Mania at 35 minutes and Tower of Terror at 30 minutes. Then we saw Alien Swirling Saucers at 21 minutes.
In the teens were Walt Disney Presents at 14 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 12 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 11 minutes, and Muppet Vision 3D at 10 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
And finally, in Animal Kingdom, the ride that almost always has one of the highest wait times in all of Disney World, Avatar Flight of Passage, had the longest average wait time at 72 minutes.
Then we had Na’vi River Journey at 38 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 35 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 28 minutes, Expedition Everest at 22 minutes, Dinosaur at 21 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 12 minutes, and Triceratop Spin at 5 minutes.
The only attraction with no wait time this week in Animal Kingdom was Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, so go check it out if you don’t want to wait in any lines!
That’s our look at all of the average wait times in Disney World this week! Do you think we’ll ever have a ride with a longer wait time than Flight of Passage or Slinky Dog Dash? We’ll keep you updated on the average wait times each week, so stay tuned to DFB!

Maybe it’s just me, but these don’t seem all that bad. I feel like they’d be longer with fast pass.
