This year, Disney World is holding a Halloween Boo Bash instead of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Tickets are selling out quickly, but Disney just re-stocked tickets for select dates!
Disney’s Boo Bash has been a hot topic lately, as the ticket prices for the event went up from the previous Mickey’s Not-So-Scary prices, despite the Boo Bash being a shorter event with less entertainment (that we know of so far!).
Previously, many dates in September and October were sold out. But Disney has just re-stocked tickets for most dates in October, including the nights close to Halloween, like the 26th and 29th!
Previously, every Tuesday and Friday night in October were sold out, along with a few in September. Most of the evenings for Boo Bash in September still had available tickets, except for the 21st and the 24th. These dates now have available tickets as well!
August also has availability every Tuesday and Friday evening, starting August 17th.

Disney Parks is really a master of the FOMO techique. Not saying that as a criticism but genuine respect of the tactic. First, they create it by offering a limited number of tickets and mentioning they are quickly near to selling out. Then, once they “sell out,” they reinforce it again by announcing a new limited number of tickets are available and we’ve got a second chance to not miss out. And I’m not saying Mickey’s Boo Bash isn’t worth it and there’s not hot demand for it already, but the way they do it just amps up the desire to snag a ticket even more.

This is disconcerting. The draw of an after hours event vs. a party (which is how they’d marketed this) is lower crowds. I wouldn’t be very happy if I’d purchased tickets on those dates only for Disney to decide they can pack a few more in.

My husband and I are taking a few days in Disney before we lose our 2020 DVC points. i am delighted that boo bash will be while we are there. We have had annual passes and travel 5 times or more a year from DC to WDW, with ourselves, family, solo, and grandkids. Buying tickets limit our trips. going to Boo Bash gives us MK without paying for a ticket…although the amount of the ticket for boo bash is the ticket!!
When will Annual Passes come back?
I love the newsletter, blogs, and U Tube episodes! Thank you so much.

Susie, thanks for reaching out and sharing your love of the site and newsletter and DFB Guide channel. As for APs, unfortunately Disney hasn’t released info, so we just don’t know yet. We will update as soon as there’s news!

I see people selling tickets to sold out dates on ebay. How does that work? I thought these were supposed to be non transferable??
DFB Sarah says
Julie, that’s the rule. I don’t know how that would work on eBay.
