With all the reopenings happening around Disney World, there’s some entertainment coming back as well!
We’ve already seen the Festival of the Lion King return. Now another favorite from Disney’s Animal Kingdom is coming back — but not where you’d expect them!
Wassalou is a contemporary Afropop band that performed daily in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Harambe Village. You might have seen them performing on the stage close to the entrance of Kilimanjaro Safaris! They haven’t been performing there recently, as they stopped performances due to health and safety precautions. But they’ll be coming back soon! Just not to the same stage…for now.
Instead, the group will be performing at Disney Springs!
Although they haven’t released details of the time or locations, Wassalou announced that they will be in the Springs on July 1st, 17th, 20th, and 29th!
There’s usually a lot of live music going on at the Springs, so we’re excited to see more return! If you’ll be in Disney Springs on those dates, keep an eye out for the band so you can hear their fun, upbeat music again! There’s a lot going on with reopenings at Disney World, so keep following DFB and we’ll make sure to update you on all the new announcements!
