We’ve been keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Elsa during the past few days to see how the storm develops and how it could impact your Disney World trip. We’re also constantly keeping an eye on the weather in general in Orlando.
Recently, we’ve taken a look at the storm’s development in general and shared about a flood watch that was issued for the Disney World area. Now, we’ve got another update about the weather situation in part of the Disney World area.
According to an update from Jayme King at FOX 35 News, a Tornado Watch is now in effect until 11PM tonight (July 6th) for Polk and Osceola Counties.
Disney World actually stretches across two counties in Florida — Orange County and Osceola County. So, one of the counties where part of Disney World is located now has a Tornado Watch in effect.
Of course, this situation with the weather is subject to change. If you’re at Disney World right now or headed to Disney World at any point during this hurricane season, it’s important to stay up to date on the weather, keep a close eye on the weather situation around you as you’re in the parks, and be prepared.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates about Tropical Storm Elsa and other weather updates. Stay tuned for more news.
