On your mark, get set, GO!!
While many runDisney races had to be canceled or were transformed into virtual events last year, runDisney is getting ready to resume in-person races in Disney World very soon. First up is the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, which will be held this fall in Disney World. If you’re hoping to run this race and want to register early, you can start today, but only if you’re a member of a special club.
Today (July 6th), both Gold and Platinum Club runDisney members should be able to start registering for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend! Club runDisney is a special membership program that was introduced last year. Note, however, that registration for new Club runDisney memberships is currently closed. So, if you’re hoping to get this early access to register for the races, you must already be a Club runDisney member.
Note: Registration for Gold and Platinum was set to open this morning at 10AM EST. However, we have seen some fans online noting that they have been experiencing issues and have not yet been able to register for the races. We called runDisney and spoke to a member of their technical support team. They noted that emails with unique registration codes should be going out soon for Club runDisney members and to be sure to check your spam folder for this email. It appears registration is now open for members of Club runDisney, so be sure to check for that email!
General registration for in-person races for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will become available starting July 13th at 10AM EST. If you’re hoping to do some virtual races for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend (instead of going to the races in person), general registration for that will open on July 16th at 10AM EST.
The weekend itself will take place in Disney World from November 4th through 7th.
There are a number of races and other events you can register for including the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Two Course Challenge, Post-Race Party, Virtual 5K, Virtual 10K, Virtual Half Marathon, and Virtual Two Course Challenge.
runDisney races are generally VERY popular and registration for them can fill up extremely quickly. If you’re a Club runDisney member and are thinking of participating in these races, be sure to take advantage of this early registration. If you aren’t a Club runDisney member, then mark your calendars and set your alarms for when general registration begins!
We’ll keep an eye out for more details about the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend as well as other runDisney races coming in the future. Stay tuned for more updates!

Mr . JOHN says
Marathon is virtual it should be going on usually . Disney is no mask in the parks . Use mask runners Disney it still be great to run with other people . Is Disney saying you are on your own to get the virus . Give the runners the opportunity to you there own discretion .
