Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
EPCOT Food Update
Italy Pavilion
While we’ve seen Pizza al Taglio closed recently in the Italy Pavilion, we’ve got some great news for all you pizza fans out there! The to-go window was opened when we visited last…
…with traditional pizza flavors, as well as wine, beer, cocktails, and other cold beverages that are perfect with a hot slice or two!
Japan Pavilion
While the Sparkly Dragon had been hanging around the Japan Pavilion for a prolonged time, EPCOT’S Garden House FINALLY added something new to the Outdoor Sake Bar’s menu. The Blue Samurai cocktail is now the new star with Shochu, Monin Blue Curaçao Syrup, Calpico, and Lime Juice that make up its stunning bright blue color!
And, let us just say that this cocktail is DANGEROUSLY good! The flavors were sweet and refreshing, making it more like a treat rather than a boozy drink.
And, we definitely recommend trying it for yourself since it’s only $9 (a steal for an incredible summer drink)!

EPCOT Entertainment Update
Entrance
It’s been a VERY long time since we have seen a new EPCOT map (like the beginning of the Flower and Garden Festival). But, EPCOT has finally debuted a brand new map with additional features you’re going to want to see!
Along with the brand new cover, you can find details about EPCOT’s festivals, COVID-19 health and safety measures, My Disney Experience, and park tips.
On the actual map, you can find the opening date of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (October 1st) now listed, instead of the previous 2021 note…
…as well as the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Play! Pavilion areas that are under construction.
The park breakdown lists that Club Cool and the Creations shop as both returning THIS summer with their locations on the map (we can hardly wait!!)…
…while Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 was removed altogether as the show recently closed with no updates about what will replace the film.
There will most likely be a few map changes over the coming months with the debut of Disney World’s 59th anniversary!
Check out all the updates on the new EPCOT map here!
France Pavilion
Speaking of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, we spotted a very special character appearance outside of the attraction’s entrance in the France Pavilion!
Remy sat on a serving tray, ready to tell us about all the awesome recipes he’s learned to make in Gusteau’s kitchen!
Will you be making us some ratatouille? Or, maybe a brand new dish that will wow us, Little Chef?
EPCOT Forever
When we were checking out everything My Disney Experience has to offer earlier, we noticed that there was no listed showtime for EPCOT Forever. In order to check if the show had been canceled for the evening, we reached out to a Cast Member to learn that EPCOT Forever would not be taking place on July 6th due to the inclement weather conditions from Tropical Storm Elsa.
Since Disney World works hard to keep everyone safe, sometimes fireworks and rides can be impacted due to weather concerns, especially during hurricane season.
Find out the details of EPCOT Forever’s closure for the night here!
