The day has finally arrived…‘Ohana has REOPENED at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (oh, how we have missed you)!!
The restaurant will be serving a family-style breakfast and dinner starting today. We’ve already shared details with you about the menus that have been announced for this spot and a HUGE noodles update, but now it’s finally time to eat! Today, we’re sharing a first look at a reopened ‘Ohana and its breakfast menu.
When we arrived at ‘Ohana we checked in for our reservation using the My Disney Experience app and soon it was our time to head inside.
Once inside the restaurant, we got to sit down at our table and enjoy the views all around us. In ‘Ohana you’ll find all kinds of tikis, tropical plants, and more.
Plus, you can’t beat that view of the resort, the water, and (in the distance) Magic Kingdom.
While breakfast here used to feature characters like Mickey, Lilo, and Stitch, the characters will NOT be present during breakfast for now. Our server told us they all went on vacation to Hawaii and haven’t returned yet! That’s an important thing to keep in mind if this used to be your go-to character breakfast spot.
Click here to see more about what character meals are available in Disney World right now.
When you arrive, there are QR code menus on the tables…
…but you can also request print menus!
There is also an option for an allergy-friendly print menu.
As we mentioned, breakfast here is served family-style (which is the same as it was prior to the pandemic). Breakfast starts off with some freshly-made pineapple-coconut breakfast bread! YUM!!
You’ll also get to enjoy some seasonal fruit.
Then, you and your family will get to chow down on the breakfast skillet. The skillet includes Hua Paka (scrambled eggs), Uala Kahiki (fried potatoes), biscuits, Pua’a (pork breakfast sausage links and Hawaiian-style ham topped with pineapple compote)!
The skillet also comes with Mickey-shaped waffles as well as Stitch-shaped waffles.
If you are looking for plant-based options, there is a plant-based breakfast skillet available. This includes “eggs,” Uala Kahiki (fried potatoes), cinnamon-sugar doughnut, “sausage,” a fruit plate, and waffles.
And we can’t leave out the drinks! ‘Ohana’s breakfast menu has options for everyone in the family to enjoy. The meal includes regular coffee so you can get in your caffeine before hitting the parks!
But, you could also pay a bit more for some specialty drinks like Kona Sourced Coffee or smoothies based on characters like the Lilo Smoothie, Moana Smoothie, and Stitch Smoothie.
We tried the Stitch Smoothie today!
There are also specialty beverages with alcohol available including a Mimosa-Your-Way and the Lapu Lapu.
One specialty drink that you won’t find on the menu right now is the Bloody Mary Flight! Our server mentioned it, and we were able to get it!
The flight has Tequila, Vodka, and Whisky Bloody Marys! The Bloody Mary flight cost $17. We’ll be sharing a full review of our breakfast experience at ‘Ohana soon, so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, if you’re hoping to stop by ‘Ohana for breakfast or dinner in the future, be sure to check and see if you can grab reservations for your trip.
We’ll keep an eye out for more news about restaurant re-openings all over Disney World and let you know what we find. Check back with us for all the latest Disney news!

Aoife says
Is it possible to order the breakfast skillet without the eggs?
DFB Sarah says
Aoife, you can talk to your server about this. I would expect they could accommodate you.
Nancy McKillop says
Do you know if the Spirit of Aloha is returning?
Thank you!
Theresa says
We have never eaten at ohana. I have a breakfast reservation in August. Since there are no characters at the restaurant, is it still worth going too? Or would you recommend waiting to go in the future? My son is a huge Lilo & Stitch fan.
Thank you
Theresa

It all looks good, I am sure that it tastes good but nothing unique here that would cause you to come back. Outside of the pineapple bread and pineapple compote atop the hame, nothing unique. Disappointed when you consider that they had all this time closed to reinvent themselves including the menu. Nothing inspired like maybe a version of the infamous giant tonga toast bread from Kona Cafe with warmed sliced banana in a warm caramel sauce. Not the same as Kona, but different, and new, but better…that would make you come back. I have come from other resorts to dine at Kona for breakfast just to get the “Tonga Toast” bread. They could have come up with something to pump up the skillet like is should be. Opportunity lost to blow the top off the restaurant reopening by just improving and adding a few specialties to the existing . Disney has lost its enthusiasm for under promise, over deliver.

The breakfast looks scrumptious! I didn’t notice a price though. How much is it? We are staying at the Polynesian Resort in February and we have been wondering about O’Hana.
DFB Sarah says
Margaret, DisneyWorld.com shows $25 for adults and $14 for kids.
DFB Sarah says
Theresa, it’s a decent meal in a lovely location, so if you’re looking for a potentially relaxing/special Table Service breakfast, you would likely enjoy this. And the price is also decent for All You Care to Enjoy dining at Disney World. However, if you prefer a character meal — particularly one that your son would enjoy — it may make sense to wait (especially if Table Service dining puts stress on your budget).
DFB Sarah says
Nancy, Disney hasn’t announced this yet, but we will update when they do.

😑 It needs Stitch and Grogu
