‘Ohana is one of our (and our readers!) favorite spots to eat at Disney World! It has delicious Polynesian-style food, including amazing smoked meats and Hawaiian-inspired sides! The food is all served family-style in an all-you-care-to-eat fashion! You can find the restaurant in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
We’ve loved ‘Ohana in the past, so of course, we went back to try the newly reopened restaurant! Here’s what we found!
First, we need to address the big question in the room: Yes. The ‘Ohana noodles are back. We know a lot of you were worried when they didn’t appear right away on ‘Ohana’s reopening menu (and we were worried too!!), but Disney announced before the reopening that the cherished noodles WOULD be returning to the menu!

At the restaurant, our stomachs started grumbling as soon as we saw the chefs cooking away in the kitchen.

And to add to the ambiance, a ukulele player was strumming some tunes!
At our table, we were directed to a QR Code menu but you can also request print copies of the full menu, the drinks menu…
…the plant-based menu…
…and the allergy-friendly menu.
Drinks-wise, you’ve got options of Non-Alcoholic Specialties, Non-Alcoholic Mocktails, Signature Cocktails, Draft Beer, and Wines. We went with the Hawaiian Mule per the recommendation of our server!
Just like breakfast this morning, dinner here is served family-style just like it was before ‘Ohana closed!

…and a bread service of ‘Ohana Coconut-Papaya Scones…
…and Cheddar-Bacon Biscuits. Can someone say YUM?
Next comes the appetizer course of Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings…
…Pork Dumplings Tossed In Garlic-Chili Sauce. Hope you’re not already full!
Then it’s time for the main course (drum roll please), the spectacular ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet. We’re talkin’ Woodfire-grilled Teriyaki Beef*, Island Shrimp Casserole with Herbed Breadcrumbs, Roasted Eight-way Chicken with Polynesian-inspired Chimichurri Sauce, Kielbasa Sausage, ‘Ohana Noodles, and Roasted Broccolini piled HIGH.
After you’ve chowed it down, the FAMOUS ‘Ohana Bread Pudding serves as the perfect dessert to cap off the meal. This menu is similar in style, but has seen many changes since before the reopening. The bread is completely different, going from small loaves to biscuits, the bread pudding caramel sauce no longer has bananas, and the meat is not served on skewers at the moment. We had some thoughts on these changes, so check out our FULL review of what we ate for dinner!Â

LOL This is not in any way the same menu ‘Ohana was serving before. My biggest complaint about DFB is the lack of objectivity.

Christina, you’re right that many of the items have changed. I’ve shared your sentiment with an editor and the writer.
