🎶 Christmastiiiiime is heeeere… 🎶
Okay, maybe Christmastime is very much not here but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited about a LOT of holiday news! We’ve taken a first look at this year’s holiday merchandise, heard about the return of holiday events, and more; but there’s one piece of news we HAVEN’T heard this morning.
Disney did NOT announce the return of the Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle for the holiday season. We DID hear about the return of Holiday Projections, which replaced the Dream Lights in 2020.
The Dream Lights were a decorative feature with thousands of twinkling lights on Cinderella Castle. Each night, Frozen friends came out to cover the castle in magical snow!
Last year, projections replaced the show to cover the Castle in Christmas-y images. We weren’t sure whether or not the Dream Lights would return this year, but the return of projections may mean that they won’t. Also, as you may know, the castle is currently done up in 50th-anniversary attire. This may be another reason why the lights were not announced for this year.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for any news of the Dream Lights, including an official announcement from Disney. We will also be on the lookout for ALL the other holiday news too! As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney updates!

Ok, this makes me so sad. I have never been to Disney for the holidays. I have a trip planned for December this year. I really wanted to see the lights. The lights give the castle the extra magic
