We’re celebrating Halfway to the Holidays with some BIG holiday news about Disney World, Disneyland, and more!
Yesterdady, Disney announced that a NEW After Hours event will be replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, holiday projections are coming back to Cinderella Castle, and gingerbread displays will also be returning to the Disney World resorts. But, sandwiched between all of those big news stories were some smaller (but still important) holiday things you should know about. Now we’re breaking them down for you so you don’t miss out on them!
1 — Festive Finale at the Frozen Show
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can stop by For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration any day of the year. During the holidays though, this show typically gets an extra festive finale.
At the end of the show, guests can experience Olaf’s Frozen Adventure and sing along to some festive music with everyone’s favorite snowman.
Disney has confirmed that the Frozen show will have a festive finale once again this year featuring Olaf. We expect the finale will be the same as it has been in the past or very similar. If you’re a big fan of the holidays or you just love Frozen, this might be a great thing to check out!
2 —Â Santa and Minnie’s Holiday Dine are Coming Back
Looking for more holiday fun in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Then you’ll want to be on the lookout for the Santa Claus Motorcade!
During this motorcade, you can spot St. Nick in his red convertible full of presents! We saw this motorcade last year, and Disney has confirmed that it will be returning once again this year.

Minnie’s Holiday Dine will also be returning to Hollywood & Vine.
During this seasonal dining experience, you’ll get to see Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and more of their friends all dressed up for the holiday season. You’ll even get to say “hello” to Santa Goofy!

3 — Holiday Flotillas in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
When you think of Christmas, you might think about Santa’s motorcade or some of the cavalcades we saw in the other parks, but you can’t forget about those seasonal flotillas in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Last year, we got the chance to experience these fun flotillas as they passed through the Discovery River. This year, Disney has confirmed that the Santa Claus Festive Flotilla, Donald’s Dino Bash Festive Flotilla, Chip & Dale’s Festive Flotilla, and the Discovery Island Drummers Festive Flotilla will all make an appearance in the park!
These flotillas are absolutely adorable. Grab a seat at Nomad Lounge, order a nice appetizer or drink, and you can just sit back and enjoy them in a great spot.

4 — SNOAP
Maybe you didn’t miss this but whenever snoap (snowy soap) news appears, we MUST share it. Disney confirmed that snoap will make an appearance during the new Disney Very Merriest After Hours event!
Not heading to the After Hours event? No worries! Disney has noted that guests will also get to enjoy some snoap over at the Town Center area of Disney Springs!

5 — Holiday Menus
Let’s be honest here, one of the best things to do in Disney World during the holidays (and really any time) is EAT. And sure, you may be expecting limited-time treats at the parks and you may have seen where Disney confirmed that Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will transform into a Holiday Bar again. But, there’s more!
Disney also confirmed that you’ll find specialty food and drink as well as holiday menus at select resorts.
We saw lots of holiday treats offered at the resorts last year and some savory dishes too, so we can’t wait to see what’s offered this year.

6 — TikTok Event
Want to learn more about the holiday offerings coming to Disney World? Well, then you’ll want to tune in to Disney’s TikTok later this week!
Disney will be hosting a Halfway to the Holidays TikTok event on Wednesday, July 14th from Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. During the event, you’ll get an inside look at the attractions, entertainment from the Dapper Dans, and even a SNEAK PEEK at new limited-time offerings!

7 — New Haunted Mansion Holiday Merchandise
We can’t wait to see Haunted Mansion Holiday when it returns to Disneyland this year! Today, we got a sneak peek at the Gingerbread House that will be featured in the attraction this year, but we also got a look at something else! This year marks 20 years of the Haunted Mansion Holiday and Disney is celebrating with some brand new merchandise.
There will be a special 20th Anniversary shirt…
…a canteen Corkcicle…
…and pins!
These new items are set to become available in Disneyland on September 27th.

8 — Jack Skellington at…the Beach?
And finally, tucked away in a post about holiday merchandise, Disney hinted at something very unique — “Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town Beach Club.”
Disney shared that even the Pumpkin King himself needs a little vacation. So, this July Jack Skellington is going on a summer vacation and we’re all invited to join in on his festivities. Could this mean new merchandise? Something involving Disney’s Beach Club Resort or potentially one of Disney’s water parks? Disney hasn’t shared very many details about that but we’re on the lookout for more info!

And that’s our list of some of the smaller holiday news items you may have totally missed in light of today’s big announcements. We’ll keep looking for more holiday updates and big Disney news. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates!
