With Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to talk about Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure!
The nighttime event, featuring all sorts of fun activities, is finally back after last year’s cancellation! Today, we’ve got some big news for you!
Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets are now on sale on Disney’s website! (Click here!) When we logged on to purchase, we were directed to a waiting room. The screen tells us that we will automatically be added to the virtual queue when it opens.
After a few minutes, we were loaded into the queue. The wait time currently sits at more than an hour!
Update: Some guests online have indicated that they’re reportedly been able to get through and buy tickets. But, the members of our DFB team have been on the webpage that notes that the wait is “more than an hour” for several hours now. According to a message that was last updated at 12:05 PM, Disney notes that they are experiencing higher than normal wait times and has advised guests to remain in the queue. We’ll continue to keep you posted!
Update: Well, it was a LONG wait, but after several hours, some of our DFB team members finally got an updated page with a different wait time of under an hour. Eventually they were able to access the ticketing system and buy tickets.
One of our team members waited a total of 4 hours and 45 minutes!

Got in the pre-queue at 8:45, entered the actual queue to the message “Approximate wait time more than an hour”. After about 30 mins, the wait changes to 59 mins, then 58, and then jumped back to “more than an hour”. It’s done this 4 times. The closest I’ve gotten in 49 min wait before it jumps back to more than an hour.

Waited 6 hours and 45 minutes but finally got in and got exactly what I was hoping for. Looked like there were still PLENTY of available dates in September and October. Perhaps Disney is only letting a very small number of people purchase at a time, thus making the wait abnormally long.

It didn’t let me get in until 3:30pm. I tried to purchase the tickets with gift cards and it didn’t give me the option. I was reading you could buy the tickets with gift cards before.
So much for waiting and it not be an option. We’re going to try again and hopefully we can
