We sure hope you’re ready for a BIG day of eating, drinking, and enjoying the BIGGEST EPCOT fest!

That’s right! It’s the most wonderful year, A.K.A. time for EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! We’re ready to try amazing eats, drink delicious drinks, and regret NOTHING after eating waaaaay too much! Ready to see it all with us? Join us as we report LIVE from the 2021 Food and Wine Fest! And follow along ALL day as we will be updating this post with every festival detail. 

Festival Dates

Food and Wine opened today (July 15th) at EPCOT and will be available for everyone to enjoy through November 20th. So, that gives you plenty of time to swing on over to the festival!

Let’s get into the fun!

Getting Started

We arrived at EPCOT this morning a full hour before the park opened and spotted some crowds already forming. Some guests were sitting on the ground to wait it out.

Soon enough though, pretty HUGE crowds started to roll into International Gateway.

Folks were pouring in from the EPCOT area resort hotels and from the Skyliner at International Gateway.

Good thing an awesome security Cast Member was there making sure everyone remembers a VERY important Food and Wine tip…STAY HYDRATED!

 

And the situation at the front of the park wasn’t all that different with pretty long lines already set at the ticket terminals.

We couldn’t WAIT to head inside!

Soon enough, we were in! Cast Members started admitting guests at around 10:25AM.

 

WOOHOO! It’s Food and Wine time, baby!

Of course, no festival is complete without snagging the Festival Passport to keep track of your progress around the booths.

Passport in hand, it was time to get going on the EATS AND DRINKS!

Crowds

We certainly weren’t the only ones heading into World Showcase. Check out that crowd!

 

Any EPCOT festival first day can draw big crowds, but LOTS of folks come out for the OG Food and Wine.

WOW.

That can make for tight spaces and long lines so be prepared if you’re visiting on one of the earlier festival days!

Speaking of long lines, we definitely saw them all around the park!

Canada Lines

Folks were lined up waiting at almost all the booths and even stores for merchandise!

Food and Drinks!

Our first stop was the Joffrey’s location in Canada where we got to try the Tropical Tea Breeze!

 

Each of the four Joffrey’s locations in EPCOT features a special drink for the fest! The Future World East location, for instance, had the sweet and tasty Cocoa Cold Brew!

 

The Odyssey Joffrey’s had the spiced and refreshing Double Trouble Chai.

 

Finally, get a load of the Cinnamon Chai from The American Adventure!

 

Overall, Joffrey’s can be a refreshing stop to your festival day!

Where better to snag a morning festival eat than at The Donut Box? We snagged a four-pack so we could try ALL the donuts!

 

Of course, we had to get the Crispy Chicken on a Sriracha-glazed Donut too.

 

That’s a pretty impressive spread!

There’s a must-visit booth for Mimosa fans at this festival too! If that sounds like you, swing by Shimmering Sips Hosted by CORKCICLE.

This booth has THREE delish mimosas and the very cool CORKCICLE Stemless Flute.

Did someone say lamb chop? The eats at the returned Australia booth look pretty darn amazing!

NEW BOOTH TIME! We swung by Brew-Wing at the EPCOT Experience to try a SIZEABLE menu of wings and flatbreads. Oh, and beer, of course!

 

Look how HUGE that flatbread is!

If you’re looking to try lots of different sips, we totally recommend checking out the Beer Flights available at this booth and many others!

If you’re a fan of apple flavors, you might want to head inside the Canada theater where you’ll find Appleseed Orchard!

Apple Crumble Tart

Look at that Apple Crumble Tart in all its glory.

 

This booth serves up a menu of apple treats and apple ciders and we, of course, gave them a taste.

Over at Refreshment Port Hosted by Boursin Cheese, we’ve got a NEW poutine!

 

We were SUPER pleased with the Braised Beef Poutine. How could we not be? It’s made with French Fries, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce, Cheese Curds, and Gherkin Relish.

The Hawai’i booth brought us some returning favorites and some new ones!

Next up, we strolled on over to visit the new booth, The Noodle Exchange.

 

This spot features some VERY yummy sounding items like Traditional Spicy Vietnamese Beef Pho, Char Siu Pork Udon, and more!

The Mexico booth has brought us some best of the fest eats in the past, so we’re pretty excited to see how it holds up this time around.

It’s hard to pass on Flavors from Fire when you can actually SEE the Cast Members grillin’ up the meats!

 

And did someone say Beer Cheese Fondue?

More of a plant-based eater? Head to Earth Eats for plant-based options like The Impossible Burger Slider and Impossible Three-Bean Chili.

 

This booth also had a shockingly Christmas-y drink.

This booth also has a yummy drink in the form of Spiced Apple Twinings of London Chai Tea, which you can also get with Whiskey!

 

One new booth TOTALLY shocked us and it’ll probably shock you too.

Swanky Saucy Swine Spread

Why? Because it ACTUALLY made us LOVE eating Pig Ear!

 

And don’t even get us started on that Bloody Mary.

Look at all those Chicken Teriyaki Buns!

 

Spoiler alert, that bun holds a LOT of goodness inside.

Even though this spot only has two festival offerings, they are both really tasty!

The Funnel Cake Stand usually has a pretty tasty option.

This year it CERTAINLY didn’t disappoint!

The Greece booth has wowed us in the past so we were PUMPED to get eating at this booth.

 

And guess what, our favorite GRIDDLED CHEEEEEEESE is back!

 

The Spanakopita is a favorite at this booth too!

 

It’s no wonder why we love this stop!

AND, we’ve got another new booth with Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of Medina.

The Germany booth brought back one of our BESTS OF ALL TIME — Schinkennudeln!

 

We also tried some new beers at this booth.

In the American Adventure Pavilion, you can find Hops and Barley.

And just inside The American Adventure building, you can visit Rotunda Bistro.

This booth is a seafood lovers DREAM.

Then it was on to Italy! Where we snagged some Ravioli…

…and the sweet Bombolini!

This is one of the priciest booths…but it was also one of our least favorites. We had high hopes for Italy, but they really let us down with these eats overall!

And FINALLY, we ended the day with France where we tried out the delicious Coq au Vin.

This booth also had the eat of our DREAMS — a THREE CHEESE BEIGNET.

Add Creme Brulee…

…and La Passion Martini Slushy and we’re pretty happy campers.

France is known for amazing eats and drinks, but this booth broke our hearts a little bit this year!

Something to note when you visit the festival — today we noticed a glitch in the My Disney Experience, so some of the menus are incorrect.

Entertainment

Though entertainment is limited at the festival this year, we did spot a Cavalcade of Princesses rolling through!

 

And we got to stop and listen to the JAMMitors for a while. Check out their chef outfits!

 

The Voices of Liberty were out singing some tunes too!

 

We can’t wait to check out the concert series which starts on July 16th!

Activities

Not only is there live entertainment at the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, but there are several activities as well! During your visit, you can participate in Emile’s Fromage Montage! This is the popular cheese crawl where guests purchase 5 specific dishes from booths around the festival. In return, you get a free AND exclusive treat!

This year, the FREE treat is a Strawberry Cheesecake Soft Serve! Talk about YUM.

We highly recommend for all of our cheese fans out there! The whole crawl will cost $23.50 without tax, and it’s full of delicious snacks! Plus, we loved the free dessert.

Also returning to this year’s festival is Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak! This activity involves finding all of the Remys around World Showcase! You can pick up a map for $9.99, and you’ll get a free prize at the end for your hard work!

Hey There Remy!

Once you’ve completed the map, you can return it to Disney Traders, World Traveler, or Gateway Gifts to get your prize! This year, you can pick from four plastic cup designs.

Don’t skip out on this fun activity! It’s great for kids and the entire family, plus the prize at the end is a fun touch!

Merchandise

Festival merchandise can be found at locations around the park and we spotted the Food and Wine Minnie Ears. These are SUPER unique with apples and a wooden pattern as parts of the design.
