Today, July 16th, 2021, is a very special day — this is the day that Disneyland’s reimagined Jungle Cruise attraction officially reopens!
We’ve already gotten a first look at the changes that have been made at Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise and we’ve been sharing all the details we know about the changes coming to this classic ride on both coasts. But, today we spotted something EXTRA special (and delicious) you can grab in Disneyland Park to commemorate the reopening of the ride and just celebrate your love for all things Jungle Cruise. Warning: once you see this you might not be able to resist buying it!
If you’re looking for a super tasty DOLE Whip sundae and an epic souvenir, we may have just found the perfect combo for you! Introducing the Pineapple Split DOLE Whip Sundae with a Jungle Cruise BOAT!!!!
Yes, you read that right folks, not only do you get a DOLE Whip sundae (more details on that in a second), but you also get a mini Jungle Cruise Boat to take with you for all of your future adventures!
The boat itself comes wrapped up so you can keep it all nice and clean until you get home, or you can open it immediately and marvel at it (as we did). You’ll find this treat at The Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland Park and it’s priced at $24.99.
Okay, so what does the sundae actually include? Well, it’s got 2 spears of pineapple, 2 small swirls of DOLE Whip, blueberries and strawberries, coconut flakes, banana chips, and gummy butterflies. In terms of the DOLE Whip swirls, you can get 2 small swirls of pineapple DOLE Whip on its own, or you can get some DOLE Whip combinations. We opted to go with 2 swirl combos — raspberry and lemon for one swirl, and mango with pineapple for the other.
That’s a whole bunch of different things in one sundae. Honestly, we were a little afraid that the mix of flavors and textures wasn’t going to work, but we were totally wrong! This sundae is seriously NEXT LEVEL. It’s got the most amazing combination of tropical flavors and wonderful textures. The fresh fruit, DOLE Whip, and other items all work really well together.
And it’s big too — this is something that’s totally sharable, making it a good treat to grab and split with friends or family.
The pineapple spears were juicy and sweet. We will say that the treat as a whole is VERY sweet. If you’re not into really sweet treats, then you might want to opt for something else.
But, let’s be real, the true reason why you’re probably going to get this is because of the Jungle Cruise BOAT it comes with!!!
This thing is seriously adorable. If you love Disney collectibles or just love the Jungle Cruise, we have a feeling this is something you might really enjoy. It could be an awesome little decoration to add to your home or office.
If you want to get one, be sure to stop by The Tropical Hideaway soon and pick one up while they’re available! We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details and news from Disneyland, so check back with us for all the latest.

Wait, so this is not available in Disney World??? 😭😭😭
DFB Sarah says
Stella, at this point, no, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it came to the east coast. We will update if it does.
