Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary is coming up SOON and there’s so much happening!!

We’re getting a new fireworks show in Magic Kingdom, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will finally open, golden character statues are being added to all 4 parks, the park icons will be decked out with special “EARidescence,” a new character cavalcade will take place, and more! One of the things we’ve already seen in Disney World is the transformation of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom. She’s been getting a BIG makeover and the final touch was put on overnight!!
Check out the GIANT 50th crest that was added to the front of the castle!
The final piece of shimmering decor was installed last night and completes the royal makeover for the park icon.
Of course, we got to Magic Kingdom RIGHT away this morning to check it out for ourselves!

We were there yesterday and wondered why everyone was cramming in the middle of Main Street as we first walked in. We went on the sidewalk and got back to Adventureland so quickly.
Thank you for all your tips…we put them to good use and got all our “must do’s” in. Epcot on Monday.

My family and I was at Magic Kingdom the day before they put up the 50 Anniversary on the castle. My wife still got a great picture of the castle . It is a great looking castle we came back home Friday I am glad we went to enjoy after 2 years .
