We’re gearing up for the premiere of Jungle Cruise, the film adaptation of the classic Disneyland and Disney World ride!
There are tons of reasons to love this movie, but one of out top reasons is that it stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson! Ahead of the film’s premiere, The Rock’s food truck Mana Mobile has parked itself at Downtown Disney!
The food truck arrived for a limited time only today as part of a promotion for Jungle Cruise! Upon arrival, guests were handed one food ticket and one drink ticket along with wristbands (you had to be 21 years or older to enter!).
While we waited for the food to arrive, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt made a special appearance! They’re in town for the premiere of Jungle Cruise, happening tomorrow at Disneyland!
We’ll admit, we were a bit star-struck…but then it was time to EAT! We took a look at the menu to see what our tickets would get us.
The truck served DJ’s Famous French Toast Sticks, which are Brioche French Toast Sticks with Teremana Infused Peanut Butter and and served with Coconut Maple Syrup. It was absolutely delicious! We couldn’t taste the peanut butter all that much, but the Coconut Maple Syrup along with the infusion of the Teremana Tequila was mind-blowing.
For drinks, you can try The Jungle Margarita! This cocktail is a mixture of Teremana Blanco Tequila, Blue Curacao, Fresh Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar. It was only a sample size but it was STRONG. Very tasty and delicious; we would totally order a full-size serving of this cocktail. TBH, French Toast could always come with a shot of tequila and we wouldn’t complain.
If the Jungle Margarita didn’t sound like your cup of tea, you could try the Mana Paloma — a mixture of Teremana Blanco Tequila, Grapefruit Juice, Fresh Lime Juice, and Soda Water. This was a terrific pop-up event at Downtown Disney — we’ll be on the lookout for even more special events in the coming days and weeks!
