Disneyland reopened a few months ago, but a LOT has changed since then.
Health and safety restrictions have lifted including temperature checks and face masks, plenty of restaurants have reopened, and fan-favorite rides like the Matterhorn Bobsleds have reopened. Another trend we’ve noticed at Disney World is the extension of park hours, and now Disneyland Resort is extending its park hours soon!
Starting with Disneyland Park, an extra hour has been added to the park hours each day! You’ll be able to roam the park from 8AM to 11PM starting on August 13th.
Disney California Adventure Park also added an hour of park time starting on August 13th. Guests can visit the park anytime between 8AM to 10PM. This change in hours has not affected the park hopping hours — guests can still park hop from 1PM to park close.
The Downtown Disney District has also extended its operating hours! The shopping and dining area used to close at 11PM, but now you can visit from 8AM to 12AM. This also starts on August 13th.Â
The extended park hours continue through the beginning of September, which is as far out as the calendar goes currently. So if you’re visiting Disneyland in mid-August, you’ll get more time in the theme parks and Downtown Disney! We’ll continue to update you on the latest Disney Parks hours, so stay tuned for more.
