Disney World has been updating its policies as the situation with COVID-19 continues to develop.
Recently, the Orange County, Florida mayor recommended that individuals wear masks indoors again, and noted that the county is in “crisis mode” due to the COVID-19 situation there. Soon after, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also updated their guidance and are now recommending that vaccinated individuals wear masks in indoor, public locations in certain areas and Disney World responded by requiring masks indoors once again. Now, the way you eat in Disney World has changed.
Disney has updated their guidance and health rules to say that guests must be stationary when eating and drinking indoors. This was the case for many months following the reopening of the Disney parks. We spoke with Cast Members at Disney World to confirm this, but it’s also now listed again on the Disney World website.
We’ll be sure to keep up with the changes so you don’t miss any of the updates. Keep an eye on DFB.
