We are so excited to have more details about the Galactic Starcruiser, aka Disney World’s Star Wars Hotel.

And now that we know the hotel will open in Spring 2022, we also have a TON of new details to share with you. And one of those details is all about the food you’ll eat while you stay there.
As you may know, the Galactic Starcruiser isn’t JUST a hotel — it’s a two-day interactive experience that puts you in the middle of your very own Star Wars story. And just as we’ve seen at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the food on the Starcruiser will reflect part of that experience. And now we have a first look at what kind of food guests can expect while cruising through a galaxy far, far away.

In addition to the Sublight Lounge, guests will get to dine in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, where they will be served dishes that look like this:

Disney did not name the dishes specifically, but did state that the chefs working on the menus have “taken such ownership of the Star Wars storytelling.” For example, there’s an item inspired by Mustafar, a planet known for heat and lava.

According to Disney, “We’re taking really delicious things and presenting them in unexpected ways” that are “of and kind of inspired by Star Wars storytelling DNA.”

And, also, like with cruises, meals are included in the price of the stay on the Galactic Starcruiser. We don’t know pricing for the hotel yet, but this is a NEW and important detail on pricing that had not been shared yet!

Disney also shared a sneak peek at this shrimp-covered…drink?! We have some THOUGHTS! It looks cool. It looks gross. What are your thoughts?! It looks a LOT like the drink in the Star Wars poster shared above. We see what ya did there, Disney. 😏

Hi Plain Jane! While we were on board the Halcyon, one of our reporters had the chance to speak with the chefs and they will make accommodations for you if there is an ingredient or sauce you’d prefer not to have. You would just need to let them know that you’d like your pasta with cheese only, etc.
