So I’m just curious about this. As DVC members we always stay in a villa, so the extra magic hours in the evening works out great for us. But how do they actually go about doing this? Do they make you prove you are staying in a villa or I deluxe resort before they let you on the rides? Just curious about how this actually works when you’re there in person.

BK, the only somewhat correlating example I can think of to answer your question is the Halloween and Christmas parties in the past. They announced for regular guests to leave at Park closing, then they would check at ride entrances to verify if a guest was there for the party. I don’t know if this is how they’ll do it or what that would even look like logistically, but it is something Disney has done in the past.

I have seen Disney issue wrist bands to those paying for the evenings evens and restricting access to those guests who do not wear one. Non wrist band guests are encouraged to depart the park at will.
