One of the locations that has remained closed since the reopening of Disney World in July 2020 is Columbia Harbour House.
It was actually being used to house part of the line for Peter Pan’s Flight! Some of the restaurant’s menu items have been available over at Tomorrowland Terrace, so we haven’t gone completely without a taste of Columbia Harbour House, but it still wasn’t the full experience! We found out recently that Columbia Harbour House would be back in action, and today we got to try it for the first time in over a year!
We headed over to Magic Kingdom to check out the reopening, and we were greeted by the most enthusiastic Cast Members!
They were seriously so excited to be open again!
Time to head on in!
We placed a Mobile Order, which is a great idea if you want to avoid some lines!
It wasn’t too crowded when we got inside, but that might not be the case all day.
Some people placed their orders with a Cast Member, which is still an option.
Here’s a look at the current menu:
Then it was time for us to grab our Mobile Order!
We took our food to a lovely table by a window, where the decor is just soooo New England, in the best way!
Let’s get a look at that full spread, baby!
We got a Lobster Roll, DUH!
And what’s some seafood without some Hushpuppies and Fries?!
We also got the Trio Platter with Fried Shrimp, Chicken Strips, and Battered Fish!
Just look at that golden perfection!
And, of course, we had to get some of Columbia Harbour House’s famous New England Clam Chowder. We don’t care if it’s as hot as the surface of the sun outside!! ☀️ 🔥
For dessert, we got the Minnie Mouse Chocolate Lava Cake because did you really think we would come here and NOT get something with the words “chocolate lava cake” in it? Have you met us?!
We’re SUPER excited to dig in, and we’ll be coming at you soon with a FULL review, so stay tuned!
