Many things have been happening at Disneyland Resort this summer!
Avengers Campus
Avengers Campus opened a couple months ago, Disneyland park is celebrating its 66th birthday, and a brand new annual pass program was just announced! We’ve also seen many restaurants reopen and we just found out about, even more, returning soon (including the place you can get those iconic fried pickles!!). One of the things that haven’t returned to Disneyland are official character meet and greets. You can however spot characters at a distance and we got a special treat today!
Mickey Mouse was outside of his house in Toontown!!

Guests still can’t physically meet characters, but we got to take pictures of Mickey on his porch! It’s definitely a great selfie opportunity.

Before the closures, guests would walk through Mickey’s house to meet him.

We were pretty pumped to see Mickey at his house, so we moved over to Minnie Mouse’s humble abode to see if she was around. And, wouldn’t you know it, out on the porch of Minnie’s house was…Marie? From Aristocats?
Huh?
Hmm. We thought cats and mice didn’t get along, so what is Marie doing at Minnie’s house?!
It seems like she’s just as confused as we are!
When we went back to her house a little later, Minnie was out on the porch! Maybe Marie is Minnie’s new roommate or just came over for a visit!

Either way, we loved getting to see some characters around Toontown again! We’ll keep you updated if we see anyone else, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
