We’re about a month into EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival, and we’re starting to notice some patterns emerge as we check in with the festival booths.
You may recall that one dish, served at the Italy booth, is constantly selling out! Well today, as we were walking past the Italy booth in the World Showcase, we noticed something strange about the menu!
Typically, when the Mezzelune Croccanti sells out, they white it out on the menu, like this:
But today, the sign looked different!
According to Cast Members, the Mezzelune Croccanti was (still) sold out, but in addition, the Ravioli was sold out as well.
Today, it was temporarily substituted with a Four Cheese Tortellini! The Tortellini was $12.
We heard that this was a super last-minute change and is only meant to serve as a temporary replacement for the Ravioli!
The Cheese Tortellini was delicious. But remember, it may not be offered when you visit the booth as it was a temporary replacement. But if it is, we think it’s worth a try!
It has been a bit of a mystery as to what Italy’s food booth menu will look like every day! We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the Italy Food and Wine Festival booth so we can let you know about any other changes!

It’s like, they knew they didn’t have enough of this totally normal, even bland run-of-the-mill option, so they jacked up the price, thought “ha, that’ll fix it” and then…it didn’t and they got shocked Pikachu faced.

They’ve now reprinted the menu in front of the booth, & the mezzelune croccanti isn’t on it at all.

I love the Food and Wine Festival. Been going for years. I am rather disappointed by Italy’s food booth selections and their prices. I would rather have the fish and chips in the UK area or spend my money at Hops and Barley for a lobster roll.

Food and Wine Italy $12.00 for pasta not a good deal I was there this July I went to Japan like it should of bought more $6.75 .My wife went to Hawaii she like it also $12.00 . There was a Apple drink it was really good my wife and I shared. I had a better time at Epcot than Magic Kingdom my wife was so surprised . The crowds in Epcot were good Magic was tooooo busy . It was a good trip before the numbers set up .

On every vlog, that ravioli is reviewed as absolutely horrible. It MAY have sold out because of people who didn’t do their research…have low culinary standards…
But it didn’t sell out because it was so good,. People think, “It’s ravioli! How bad can it be!?”
But it is really, really bad.
Ken says
It is desperately am-mature to run out of your specialty item during a food festival. The executive chef should be dismissed for incompetence. This hurts the festival and the sponsor country. Bad show Disney…
