Disney+ has taken the streaming world by storm ever since launching 2 years ago!
The platform has produced a ton of original content like Loki, WandaVision, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and The Mandalorian, to name a few. It’s also been a space for Disney to release some of their blockbuster movies, especially when movie theaters were shut down due to the pandemic. In addition, it’s the home of countless classic Disney films! And this year, Disney is celebrating their streaming service in a special way.
November 12th, 2021 will be Disney+ Day!
The event was announced during Disney’s quarterly earning call today. They say Disney+ Day will include a company-wide cross-promotional campaign for the streaming service.
The date is significant because November 12th is the same day Disney+ launched back in 2019! A great way to celebrate 2 whole years of the streaming service.
It’s also the same day that the reboot of Home Alone, Home Sweet Home Alone, will be premiering on Disney+!
We’ll keep you updated about Disney+ Day and what all it will entail, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
