We’re back at EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival for some MORE food booths!
We woke up to a VERY nice surprise today! Some EPCOT Food and Wine booths that were not supposed to open until October 1st on Disney World’s 50th anniversary, decided to open today! So of course, we’re celebrating early by grabbing some food! The festival started back in July, so we’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of these booths. One of those is a returning favorite — Spain!
Come along with us as we taste what the Spain booth has to offer this year!
Menu
Located between Germany and Italy, the Spain booth’s menu is slightly bigger than it was last year, because the Seafood Salad is BACK! There’s also an expanded drink list this year, which we can get on board with.
Why waste any more time? Let’s get started with the food first!

Food
We started out with the Charcuterie!
The Charcuterie comes with a selection of imported Spanish Meats, Cheeses, and Olives with an Herb Vinaigrette. And it’s gluten/wheat friendly! You can get it for $6.50.
We thought this Charcuterie was really really good. The Spanish meats included were, chorizo and one piece of prosciutto rolled on top. Both were very good and the chorizo had some heat to it! The olives and cheese also paired nicely with the herb vinaigrette and made for a very good take on charcuterie!
Next, we had the Spanish-style Paella with Rice, Chorizo, and Shrimp, which is also gluten/wheat friendly, and $5.50.
The chorizo used here seems to be the same chorizo that you will find in the Charcuterie, and it brings over the same kick that was in the other dish. The shrimp was not as spicy as the chorizo, but still had some heat to them. The rice had bits of peppers and peas mixed throughout and acted as a nice cooling agent for the spicy components of this dish! Overall, we thought it was delicious, but if you aren’t a fan of spicy food you may want to pass on this one.
And finally, we got to eat the Seafood Salad after it was missing last year! It comes with Shrimp, Bay Scallops, Mussels, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, White Balsamic Vinegar, and Smoked Paprika for $6.25. Just like the other two food items, this is gluten/wheat friendly as well!
This dish was light and fresh, and despite being a seafood salad, was not too fishy. The standouts for us were the shrimp and the small scallops. The salad overall is dressed in olive oil and white balsamic vinegar, and while it is not listed on the menu, there are small olives sliced throughout the salad. If you are a seafood fan, this dish brings a lot of flavor and we’re glad to see it back!
Drinks
Time for some drinks! We got the Wine Flight for $6.25, which includes the new Avaline White Blend, the new Faustino VII Rioja Rosado, and the returning Espelt Garnacha.
This wine flight was delicious overall and the perfect pair for our dishes at the Spain booth. Our favorite was the new Faustino VII Rioja Rosado in the middle. The new Avaline White Blend was also good, but is more of a sweet wine.
The only returning wine to the festival, Espelt Garnacha, was also pretty good. It could have been smoother, which is why it was our least favorite.
Overall
The Spain booth isn’t a huge stand out for us at the festival, but the food was still pretty good! We really enjoyed the kick from the chorizo, and the Seafood Salad is a pretty unique festival item for seafood lovers. There is better wine at the festival, but we did really like the Rosada!
Those are all of the eats and drinks at the newly opened Spain booth at EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival! We’re here trying out all the other booths that opened today, so stay tuned to DFB for more reviews!
