The holiday season is almost upon us! It’s time to start locking down those plans for the wintertime, which means thinking about Disney Very Merriest After Hours at Magic Kingdom.
Disney recently released a TON of news for the new holiday event including dates, ticket prices, the return of holiday parades, and the return of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks! Now that we know this event is increasing its pricing (like we saw for Boo Bash), let’s take a look at the cheapest days to visit Disney Very Merriest After Hours!
November
The least expensive days to hit up the Disney Very Merriest After Hours party at Magic Kingdom are November 9th, 11th, 16th, and 18th. On all of these days, you’ll only be set back $169 per person instead of the steep December prices that are well above $200 a person!
For Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members, the price on those same dates is $159, which is the cheapest price you’ll see for the season.
December
Although December is a lot more expensive than November overall, there are a few days that cost less. If you want to visit Disney Very Merriest After Hours in December, we suggest going on December 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, or 16th!
Tickets cost $209 each for those dates. Unlike the November dates, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members do NOT have a discount in December and will pay the same price as general admission.

When compared to the previous Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event is significantly more expensive regardless of the date. However, Disney Very Merriest After Hours still offers a lot of the same highlights as its predecessor with parades, fireworks, treats, access to rides, and snoap (fake snow) on Main Street, U.S.A. all coming back!
Disney World hotel guests will be able to book starting on August 17th, and general admission opens up on August 20th. We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!

Question…I noticed in a previous article 11/8 was the first day of very merriest event, however the dates listed in this article list November dates starting on 11/9?
DFB Sarah says
Kevan, the Very Merriest After Hours event does start November 8. This article was highlighting the least expensive nights, of which November 9 is the first of the cheapest nights. The first night (11/8) is pricier.
Kevan Miura says
Thank you so much Sarah for the clarification! I get it now…I got a little worried as the only night I could attend is 11/8/21. However now I know I will be paying more for it, but so worth it!
Janine Yeske says
What time on August 20 can I purchase the very very merriest tickets? I don’t want to miss it.
DFB Sarah says
Janine, today the phone lines opened at 7AM. Online may have opened earlier (sometimes we see 6AM for both online and phone lines).
Brandon says
I think you are using the term “Cheapest” incorrectly.
DFB Sarah says
Brandon, this comment gave me a chuckle. A sardonic chuckle, of course.
