We’re back for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival has brought us delicious donuts and great noodles, but a few select booths were not set to open until October 1, 2021…or so we thought! Turns out a bunch of booths decided to open their doors early! Today, we’re visiting the long-awaited NEW Mac & Eats Booth, located near Mission: SPACE.
Mac & Eats is new to the EPCOT Food and Wine lineup and brings us some unique and classic mac & cheese dishes!
Menu
The Mac & Eats Booth offers 4 versions of Mac & Cheese! There’s also a plant-based option on the menu, and a few alcoholic beverages.
It’s TIME FOR CHEESE!
Food
We went classic to start — the Traditional Macaroni and Cheese with Herbed Panko for $4.75. There was a hint of spice in this super creamy mac and cheese, which we loved! This one also had delicious panko, which added some herbaceous flavor and crunch!
After that, we tried the spin on the traditional, the Truffle Macaroni and Cheese with Herbed Panko, for $5.75. This mac and cheese was so creamy and full of cheesy goodness! The truffles gave this dish a more complex flavor and the herbed panko gave this a much-needed crunch. We’re not always big on breadcrumbs on our mac and cheese, but this panko was great! This was our favorite at the booth.
Next up on the menu was the Cowboy Macaroni and Cheese with Smoked Pork Belly, Brisket Burnt Ends, Pickled Peppers, and Onion Straws for $6.25. There is a LOT going on in this bite — it’s truly a fully-loaded mac and cheese! The pork belly was salty and fatty in all the best ways and the brisket was a nice addition! There wasn’t much pickled pepper flavor, but the onion straws were very prominent and gave this dish a different texture.
And the Plant-based Macaroni & Cheese is back! We tried it last year, and it’s served with Plant-based House-made Italian Sausage and Peppers for $5.75.Â
This is a great option for anyone looking for meatless dishes at the festival this year!

Beverages
We had to have a drink with all that mac & cheese! We tried a Lemon Hazy IPA from 81Bay Brewing Co. out of Tampa, FL, which was a very refreshing, summery beer with a nice touch of citrus!
You can get a 6 0z. portion of this drink for $5 or a 12 oz. for $9. We could drink a few of these!
Overall
This was a hit for us! The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy and just delicious! The toppings were great: the panko, the truffles, and all the cowboy fixings were great compliments for each of these dishes. The IPA we tried was definitely a refreshing summer drink and really brought everything together! We really enjoyed this spot, it’s definitely worth a try!

Cowboy mac ‘n cheese was so good we went back for more! Great flavor and texture combination. Best mac ‘n cheese I have ever eaten.
